Quantitative and Qualitative Comparison of Particulate Emissions from Office Machines (ABSTRACT)

Kunststoffverarbeitende 3D-Drucker (FDM-Drucker) werden im Hobbybereich und in der beruflichen Ausbilldung immer beliebter und sind mittlerweile weit verbreitet. Es wird häufig noch nicht ausreichend beachtet, dass von diesen Geräten im Betrieb in erheblichen Mengen Gase und Partikel in die Umgebung emittiert werden. Der Vortrag berichtet über einen Vergleich des Emissions-verhaltens verschiedener Materialien für 3D-Drucker und stellt diese in Zusammenhang mit anderen Innenraum-Emissionsquellen.
NM 105, Ti02 (P25) could not be ignited as dust layer and dispersed in air as dust/air-mixture as well. This dust is not dust explosible and the burning behaviour corresponds to Burning Class 1 (no Ignition). The results have shown that the tested sample is thus not combustible at all, because it is already oxidized completely.
