Performance was evaluated using theSharpe ratio and multi-factor asset pricing models (Carhart four-factor and Fama-French five-factor), distinguishing between crisis and non-crisis periods, as well as regional and sectoral variations. Results showthat, at the aggregate level,high-tech portfolios consistentlyand significantly outperform mid-tech and "other" categories on absolute and risk-adjusted bases. The analyzed cloud certificates focus strongly on the information security management. But they only have a general look on data protection management. The missing focus on the special requirements of public administrations with regards to geo location of servers, the US cloud act, and especially prevention of foreign state access of PII data (personally identifiable information) is most critical for the use in public administrations. This article shows that a FedRAMP equivalent certification process combined with a European cloud certificate especially designed for the public administration could be the trigger to a successful and faster cloud implementation in the public administration sector in Europe that is currently underdeveloped. Pneumatic conveying systems are usually already installed for conveying particulate media, for example between process steps or the filling. In pneumatic conveying, the fluidized state of the Wurster Coater is already present. The basic idea of the current project is to implement the coating step directly in the pneumatic conveying system. Experimental approach: The coating tests were carried out using a vacuum system. For this purpose, various coating chambers with different nozzle arrangements were printed using a rapid prototyper. The nozzles used were also printed in-house and adapted to the requirements. Particles with a diameter of 3 mm were used for the tests and sprayed with a common protective coating as well as blue dye. The particles were heated to 120°C in order to supply the necessary heat to evaporate the solvent. Images of the coated particles were taken and evaluated with ImageJ to analyze the coating result. The amount of coating delivered changes the coating layer linearly as expected. The tests showed that it is possible to coat particles during pneumatic conveying. The aim of the present development is to create a cyclone that can react to variable operating parameters to keep the separation efficiency at a high level. In this paper, a live composition video format is proposed, where the instructor is integrated into the presentation during recording. The lack of publicly available labeled datasets poses a significant challenge for fault detection using supervised learning models. To address this issue, this study explores three machine learning-based synthetic data generation techniques - time series forecasting, generative adversarial networks (GANs), and fault signature transfer. These methods aim to increase publicly available data either by sharing the generating model or a synthetic dataset. The novelty lies in the combination of advanced supervised machine learning methods being applied to a large, fully labeled data set to create new, equally labeled data for publication, as, to our knowledge, no such dataset has been compiled before. We evaluate our methods on the first-of-its-kind ILSE dataset, which includes real-world smart meter data from 547 substations and 1,162 reviewed faults from a German DHS network, including detailed root cause information. Overall, time series forecasting achieves an MAPE of 3\% to 10\% for inlet and outlet temperature and 25\% to 40\% for heat load and flow rate, both of which are within year-to-year variance. For GANs, specifically TimeGAN, we found a discriminative score of about 0.10 compared to 0.24 in the original publication when tested on Energy benchmark data. Fault signature transfer has yet to yield usable results, most likely due to the high variance in the fault signatures, fault duration, and overlapping or multiple root causes. The hotel and restaurant industry faces a particular challenge. It must combine traditional, highly personalized services with new digital technologies. The German vocational education system shows increasing digital integration. However, systematic analyses are missing. These analyses should examine which digital competencies are included in trainingprograms. They should also show how professional requirements are changing. Approach: This study uses a multi-method research design. The first step examined key regulatory documents. These included training regulations and curricula for hotel specialists and cooks. We used qualitative content analysis for this examination. The second step involved 33 guided expert interviews. We interviewed stakeholders from companies, vocational schools, associations, and staff members. We analyzed the data using qualitative-deductive methods. The analysis followed theoretically based category systems. Findings: The document analysis shows that digital content exists in the regulatory materials. We found explicit digital content (n=37) and implicit digital content (n=52). The materials include requirements for trainees such as process understanding, teamwork skills, and adaptability. However, gaps exist in several areas. These include data analysis, creativity, lifelong learning, and cross-disciplinary interest. The interview analysis identified five central transformation areas. These are digital sales, digital guest journey, process optimization, digital staff management, and data-based decision support. These changes create new skill requirements on three levels: Knowledge (e.g , IT basics and tool know-how), Skills (for example, handling digital systems, organization, and communication), and Attitudes (for example, openness, willingness to learn, and team orientation). Conclusions: The results show that technological developments in the hotel and restaurant industry have wide-reaching effects. They do not only require technical adjustments but also deep pedagogical and didactic changes in vocational education. A tension exists between economic requirements (such as automation) and the need for social-emotional skills. This tension is especially important in direct guest contact. The study emphasizes the importance of systematic skill development. This development must consider professional, personal, and organizational aspects. A stronger integration of future-oriented skills is necessary. These skills include creativity, reflection ability, and willingness for lifelong learning. In this context, previous investigations showed the potential of fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy (FLIM) for fast and reliable identification of microplastics in an environmental matrix. However, since microplastics receive an environmental coating after entering nature, a challenge arises from organic contamination on the surface of microplastic particles. How this influences the fluorescence signal and the possibility of microplastic detection are unknown. To address this research gap, we exposed acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plastic samples to peptides, proteins, bacteria, and a filamentous fungus to induce organic contamination and mimic environmental conditions. We analyzed the fluorescence spectra and lifetimes of the samples using fluorescence spectroscopy and frequency-domain fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy (FD-FLIM), respectively. Our results demonstrate that reliably identifying and differentiating ABS and PET was possible via FD-FLIM, even in the presence of these biological contaminations. First of all, the generalized coloring concept, in which the same colored vertices of a graph induce a subgraph satisfying a prescribed graph property. Secondly, the concept of variable degeneracy, which was introduced by Borodin, Kostochka and Toft in 2000; this makes it possible to give a common generalization of the point partition number and the list chromatic number.
