Spatial Rogue Waves in Quadratic Optical Slab Waveguides
- Spatial optical breather solutions of the Nonlinear Schrödinger Equation have been observed for the first time. The experiment was performed in an optical slab waveguide with the cascaded quadratic nonlinearity in second-harmonic generation.
