- Inklusion von Spitzenathleten mit Hörbeeinträchtigungen im Leistungssport kann nur gelingen, wenn zentrale Funktionsträger des Regelsportsystems diesbezüglich eine positive Einstellung aufweisen. Auch ist ein ausreichender Kenntnisstand zum sogenannten deaflympischen Behindertensport (Syn.: Gehörlosensport) inklusive der speziellen Bedürfnisse und Besonderheiten von Spitzenathleten mit Höreinschränkungen unabdingbar. Die vorliegende explorative Studie analysiert den Wissensstand von Funktionsträgern des Deutschen Olympischen Sportbundes (DOSB) hinsichtlich dieser Aspekte. Im Ergebnis ist eine insgesamt lückenhafte Wissensgrundlage sowie positive Einstellung zur Inklusion zu konstatieren.
The inclusion of peak performance athletes with hearing disabilities in competitive sports needs official of mainstream sports to possess positive attitudes towards people with disabilities. Further, they need to have sufficient knowledge about deaflympic sports (syn.: deaf sports) as well as the special needs and features of these athletes. This exploratory study analyses the knowledge base of officials of German Olympic Sports Association (DOSB) addressing the mentioned aspects. In summary, the official have fragmentary knowledge and positive attitudes about inclusion. (Autor)
