    <title language="deu">Untersuchungen und Analyse des Verhaltens von Böden und Boden-Bindemittel-Gemischen unter zyklischer Belastung</title>
    <abstract language="deu">Während es zahlreiche Untersuchungen zum Verhalten von Böden unter zyklischen und dynamischen Belastungen gibt, gibt es nur wenige Veröffentlichungen zu zyklischen Belastungen an Bindemittel-stabilisierter Böden. Dabei werden diese Boden-Bindemittel-Gemische (BBG) vielseitig eingesetzt (z.B. qualifizierte Bodenverfestigung, Bodenmischsäulen, zeitweise fließfähige Erdbaustoffe).&#13;
Die durchgeführten Versuche zielen darauf ab, ein tiefergehendes Verständnis für das Materialverhalten von BBG zu gewinnen. Hierfür wurden an verschiedenen Mischungen zyklische Versuche mit variierenden Spannungsamplituden durchgeführt.&#13;
Die bisher durchgeführten Versuche untersuchen sowohl Zyklen im niedrigen Lastbereich als auch im hohen Lastbereich nahe der einaxialen Druckfestigkeit.&#13;
Gängige Modelle zur Beschreibung des Setzungsverhaltens in Folge von zyklischer Einwirkung werden vorgestellt und mit den Ergebnissen für BBG verglichen.</abstract>

    <title language="eng">Qualitative Exploration of Applied Sport Psychology Practices in Deaflympic Sports</title>
    <abstract language="eng">Introduction Athletes competing in elite Deaf sports, known as Deaflympic sports, display unique sociocultural characteristics (Clark &amp; Mesch, 2018). Yet, sport psychology research has largely overlooked this group of athletes for decades (Markov-Glazer et al., 2023). This study therefore aimed to examine sport psychology practices in Deaflympic sport, focusing on identifying distinctive characteristics, needs, and preferences of this athlete group.&#13;
&#13;
Methodology To achieve this goal, six in-depth focus group interviews were conducted with 23 active Deaflympic athletes (26.1% female) and four coaches from individual sports (e.g., tennis) and team sports (e.g., handball). Participants discussed their use of psychological skills and communication strategies, the role of hearing aids in training and competition, and their experiences with sport psychology consultants. We analyzed the interviews’ contents using thematic content analysis (Braun et al., 2016).&#13;
&#13;
Results The results showed participants largely apply psychological skills intuitively. Additionally, several distinctive features emerged in their use of techniques such as self-talk and relaxation. Moreover, athletes relying on visual cues for processing information described unique cognitive challenges during competition under certain conditions.&#13;
&#13;
Conclusions In conclusion, Deaflympic athletes use psychological skills similarly to Paralympic and Olympic athletes but may apply them in distinct ways under specific circumstances. These and other unique characteristics should be considered when working with Deaflympic athletes. Moreover, Deaflympic athletes, particularly in team sports, may face additional cognitive demands that merit further attention in sport psychology practice and research.</abstract>

    <title language="eng">Predicting intra-abdominal pressure during walking and running</title>
    <abstract language="eng">Intra-abdominal pressure (IAP) is an important physiological parameter, which is difficult to measure during physical activity. In this study, motion capture, musculoskeletal modeling and a transformer encoder model are used to predict IAP during walking and running. The model showed promising results with an overall mean percentage error of 13.5% and a Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.85. Minor challenges included the lower accuracy for fast walking and running and the limited amount of data. All in all, the prediction of IAP was successful, which opens up prospects for further applications.</abstract>

    <title language="eng">Evaluating the loads on the female pelvic floor during full-body activities using computational models</title>
    <abstract language="eng">This work investigated the loads on the female pelvic floor during various full-body movements using computational models to calculate abdominal pressure and organ dynamic loads. While high-impact exercises resulted in higher loads, other movements showed lower loads, potentially indicating, which movements may be performed without risking pelvic floor overload and subsequent dysfunctions.</abstract>

    <abstract language="eng">This study explored the connection between subjective self-assessed gait insecurities and objective movement scores. 93 subjects answered detailed fall risk questionnaires and performed functional tests. Significantly different movement patterns between fallers and non-fallers were found.</abstract>
