In real MPI scanners, the generated magnetic fields have distortions that lead to deformed magnetic low-field volumes with the shapes of ellipsoids or bananas instead of ideal field-free points (FFP) or lines (FFL), respectively. Most of the common model-based reconstruction schemes in MPI use however the idealized assumption of an ideal FFP or FFL topology and, thus, generate artifacts in the reconstruction. Our model-based approach is able to deal with these distortions and can generally be applied to dynamic magnetic fields that are approximately parallel to their velocity field. We show how this new 3D model can be discretized and inverted algebraically in order to recover the magnetic particle concentration. To model and describe the magnetic fields, we use decompositions of the fields in spherical harmonics. This work introduces a reference hardware setup that allows an in depth analysis of electrical energy consumption in industrial environments. To identify appliances and their consumption profile, appropriate identification algorithms are developed by the NILM community. To enable an evaluation of these algorithms on industrial appliances, we introduce the Laboratory-measured IndustriaL Appliance Characteristics (LILAC) dataset: 1302 measurements from one, two, and three concurrently running appliances of 15 appliance types, measured with the introduced testbed. To allow in-depth appliance consumption analysis, measurements were carried out with a sampling rate of 50 kHz and 16-bit amplitude resolution for voltage and current signals. Utilizing multimodal trajectory data, survey responses on travel stress, and detailed road network information with geological and bicycle facility data, the study analyzes correlations between actual and perceived infrastructure quality, travel stress, and cycling mode share, as well as the impact of travel time and distance on cycling mode share. The results indicate significant correlations between perceived infrastructure quality and travel stress levels, and between travel stress levels and cycling mode share, particularly among regular bike users. However, clear correlations between actual and perceived infrastructure quality, and between perceived infrastructure quality and cycling mode share, were not observed. Additionally, direct effects of travel time and distance on cycling mode share were not evident. From these findings, three main insights emerge. Firstly, accurately estimating cycling mode share requires considering multiple parameters beyond travel time and distance. Secondly, to implement effective measures for bicycle facilities, a detailed analysis of perceived infrastructure quality, incorporating actual infrastructure design, is crucial. Lastly, travel stress, when carefully assessed with consideration of various factors beyond infrastructure design, emerges as a key determinant of travel mode choice. These insights have significant implications for future cycling research, including the development of travel mode choice models and estimating cycling demand. In the future, their role will be even more critical for autonomous vehicles, which rely on accurate localization for navigation and decision-making. However, the increasing connectivity of autonomous vehicles exposes them to cyber threats, including GNSS spoofing attacks, which manipulate location data to mislead onboard systems. As reliance on GNSS grows, so does the risk posed by spoofing attacks, making it a critical security concern. This paper describes GNSS spoofing attacks on autonomous vehicles, focusing on their detection both during and after an attack. Furthermore, we analyze data storage strategies to facilitate effective forensic analysis. We highlight the importance of position, signal, and camera data, which should be preserved to ensure a comprehensive forensic investigation. Finally, we suggest a simulation setup that enables studying which data could be used for a forensic investigation. Recording mobility behavior through conventional, aggregated, or retrospective survey methods (e.g., counting stations, travel diaries) may yield incomplete insights. In addition, these methods are often expensive, prone to error, or not scalable. The aim of this literature review is to provide a systematic overview of the current state of the literature on recording and analysis of individual mobility data and, based on this, to identify possible research gaps and potential. The exploratory literature review includes social science surveys on multi- and intermodal mobility behavior, as well as an overview of possible ways to analyze travel data. The focus of the latter is on identifying relevant data sources and methodological approaches for segmentation, identification of transport mode, and trip purpose determination. Results from recent studies show that sensor-based data collection alone is not sufficient to fully and accurately map mobility behavior. One possible solution is a "best-of-both-worlds" approach that combines passive, automatic mobility data collection via smartphone sensors with targeted user corrections and additions ("human-in-the-loop") within an app. The literature review shows that this approach yields the best data quality. Combining mobility surveys with passive collection of mobility data provides a comprehensive, accurate, and complete overview of mobility behavior.}, language = {en} }
