Additionally the temperatures were measured on the specimens' surface. The experimental setups used were compared by executing TMF pre-test with the identical single-crystalline specimen. Subsequently TMF tests on coated single-crystalline Nickel-based superalloy PWA 1484 were carried out with temperature rates of 10K/s and 20 K/s. These subcomponents have failed in the past.Experiments are carried out using a fictive load-time function, which is a modification of an actually measured load curve and has variable mean and amplitude values. This first test series serves as a general validation of a subsequent fatigue analysis. A second test series is carried out with constant mean and amplitude values with a load ratio ๐‘…โ‰ˆ0. Here, the load frequencies in the individual test runs are varied between fโ€‰=โ€‰5โ€‰Hz and fโ€‰=โ€‰45โ€‰Hz in order to investigate the influence of the frequency. Both series are performed on a servo-hydraulic testing machine.The experimental data is then statistically evaluated. The values for the scatter correlate with data from the literature. Fluctuating material properties such as the sheet roughness and the amount of lubricant have an influence on the forming process. On the basis of large amounts of data it is possible to investigate the friction behavior in series production and to make process adjustments if required. Therefore, inline measurement systems have a great potential to detect the sheet roughness during the cutting process of blanks in the coil line. Furthermore, contactless systems are advantageous as they do not damage the surface. Nevertheless, the optical measuring is influenced by the lubricant layer on top of the surface. Therefore, the previously unknown impact of the lubricant on the measuring result is investigated. Within this study, stationary optical roughness measurements have been conducted using different amounts of lubricant on hot-dip galvanized EDT steel. The results demonstrate the influence of different amounts of lubricant on the sheet roughness measurement. Hence, it is possible to correct the inline measuring results and gain knowledge of fluctuating surface roughness. The composition of the clots-in particular, the presence of von Willebrand factor (vWF)-may be an indicator for prevalent nonphysiological flow conditions, foreign body reactions, or coagulation abnormalities in critically ill patients. Mats of interwoven gas exchange fibers from randomly collected MOs (PLS, Maquet, Rastatt, Germany) of 21 patients were stained with antibodies (anti-vWF and anti-P-selectin) and counterstained with 4 ',6-diamidino-2-phenylindole. The extent of vWF-loading was correlated with patient and technical data. While 12 MOs showed low vWF-loadings, 9 MOs showed high vWF-loading with highest accumulations close to crossing points of adjacent gas fibers. The presence and the extent of vWF-fibers/"cobwebs," leukocytes, platelet-leukocyte aggregates (PLAs), and P-selectin-positive platelet aggregates were independent of the extent of vWF-loading. However, the highly loaded MOs were obtained from patients with a significantly elevated SOFA score, severe thrombocytopenia, and persistent liver dysfunction. One drawback of this multivariate approach is, that it is naturally not convenient for analysis of group studies. Therefore various techniques have been proposed in order to overcome this limitation of ICA. In this paper a novel ICA based work-flow for extracting resting state networks from fMRI group studies is proposed. An empirical mode decomposition (EMD) is used to generate reference signals in a data driven manner, which can be incorporated into a constrained version of ICA (cICA), what helps to overcome the inherent ambiguities. The results of the proposed workflow are then compared to those obtained by a widely used group ICA approach. It is demonstrated that intrinsic modes, extracted by EMD, are suitable to serve as references for cICA to obtain typical resting state patterns, which are consistent over subjects. This novel processing pipeline makes it transparent for the user, how comparable activity patterns across subjects emerge, and also the trade-off between similarity across subjects and preserving individual features can be well adjusted and adapted for different requirements in the new work-flow.}, language = {en} }
