The development of new technologies like advanced driver assistance systems or autonomous driving can only be accomplished efficiently using extensive simulation methods. Such kind of applications demand for computationally efficient vehicle models. This paper presents a steering system model for dual front axles of heavy duty trucks which supplements the suspension model of the axles. The model takes the torsional compliance of the steering column as well as the stiffness of the tie rods and the coupling rod into account. A quasi-static solution provides a straight forward computation including the partial derivatives required for an efficient implicit solver. The data collected was analyzed not only in terms of the four presentation styles, but also by dividing the subjects into experience levels based on their semesters of study or years of work experience. Regarding the difference between actual and interpreted guidelines, we found that for interpreted guidelines the error detection rate is higher whereas the duration and frequency of visits to the guideline itself are mainly lower. This suggest that the actual guidelines are less useful and more difficult to understand. The options considered to this point for reducing CO2 emissions and switching to a renewable energy supply involve far-reaching changes of the established melting processes. This entails significant risks in terms of influences on glass quality and stable production volumes. The presented approach for the integration of a Power-to-Methane (PtM) system into the glass industry is a completely new concept and has not been considered in detail before. It allows the use of established oxyfuel melting processes, the integration of fluctuating renewable energy sources and a simultaneous reduction of CO2 emissions by more than 78\%. At the same time, natural gas purchases become obsolete. A techno-economic evaluation of the complete PtM process shows, that 1,76 €/m3 or 1,26 €/kg synthetic natural gas are possible with renewable energy supply. Using electricity from the energy grid would require electricity prices < 0,126 €/kWh to allow cost competitive PtM processes in the glass industry. Such electricity prices could be achieved by electricity market-based optimization and operation of the PtM system. Only that way new materials can be evaluated regarding their durability and subsequently be used in practical applications. For carbonation, a new R3 accelerated test method is presented in this contribution. An automated carbonation pressure chamber was developed. It consists of a pressure vessel, automated in such a way that it can apply gas overpressure of various intensities up to 8 bar to mortar and concrete samples. Simultaneously, it can control and regulate the ambient CO2 concentration from 0 to 99.5\% in a fully automated and continuously variable procedure. Experiments were carried out with varying combinations of gas overpressure at CO2 concentrations of 3 vol.-\% to achieve the most time-efficient carbonation of mortars and concretes. Mortars with different material compositions were used to evaluate the general suitability of the test procedure with the developed equipment. The performance tests used to demonstrate the freeze-thaw resistance of concrete employ a 3\% NaCl solution, with literature data ranging from 1\% to 10\% showing that low concentrations can result in higher surface scaling. The results are discussed against the background of the existing literature and show that the damage is critically dependent on the pore system and thus also on the effect of the micro-ice lens pump. With increasing freeze-thaw exposition, the pessimum in the external damage shifts towards a de-icing salt concentration of 6\%. A key element of the concept is the interactive planning process in which user and computer alternately design and improve the layout until a satisfactory layout is found. The user evaluates the layouts according to qualitative criteria, adjusts them intuitively and specifies objectives and restrictions in an explorative way. The computer on the other hand - in form of a reinforcement algorithm - generates possible layouts and incorporates the user's feedback into its policy. This synergy is expected to generate better results than an expert or an algorithm alone could. Furthermore, in the context of learning factories, it encourages critical thinking and allows students to develop a deeper understanding of the factors that contribute to efficient manufacturing processes. Semi-structured projects are introduced that combine the advantages of structured experiments with projects. The project work is structured into several parts with detailed descriptions of the tasks. In the end, students get similar results to doing a free project, but the success rate is higher due to higher guidance. Therefore, these semi-structured projects are seen to be an appropriate method to guide students to learn how to do project work. The feedback from most students is very positive. Some students with no previous lab experience complained about the project work and wished for more guidance to become familiar with lab work. Our model leads to a fast prediction and avoids solving the vehicle routing problem (VRP) through expensive computations. Moreover, we describe how to predict travel time for all routes using the same DGCN Model. This method makes it possible not to use a more computationally intensive approximation algorithm when determining long travel times with many intermediate stops, but to use our network for an early estimate of the quality of a route. Long travel times, in our case result from the use of a call-bus system, which must distribute many passengers among several vehicles and can take them to places without a regular stop. For a case study, the rural town of Roding in Bavaria is used. Furthermore, in-vitro parametric studies to investigate the particle number and size distribution and the spatial distribution of surgical smoke with laser light sheet technique are conducted. With higher power of the HF device, the particles generated are larger in size and the total number of particles generated is also higher. Adding artificial saliva to the tissue shows even higher particle counts. The study by laser light sheet also confirms this. The resulting characteristic size distribution, which may include viruses and bacterial components, confirms considering the risk arising from surgical smoke. Consequently, this causes the most daunting impediment in semantic interoperability between the service components in cooperative automotive systems. From a modeling perspective, in the absence of standardized domain-based unified modeling techniques, the orchestration and resolution of semantic data interoperability between various vehicle application frameworks' components' interface models remain a challenge. However, this challenge could be addressed using ontological metamodeling by specifying semantic associations between components' interface model concepts based on the domain knowledge. Apart from the semantic mapping of interface ontological metamodels, this work also defines quality metrics to determine the degree of semantic alignment achieved between the various interface ontologies. One of the biggest peculiarities here is that a large area has to be covered with as few vehicles as possible. The basic idea of this algorithm is based on a more general version of HGS, which we adopted to solve the CVRPPD in rural areas. It also implements improvements that lead to the acceleration of the algorithm and, thereby, to a faster generation of a fastest route. We tested the algorithm on real road data from Roding, a rural district in Bavaria, Germany.
