In consequence, we coated the CMOS sensor surface with a Cu layer for surface protection. In contrast to the original insulating surface, Cu is an excellent current- and heat-conductor, which avoids lens charging by providing a conductive path for incident electrons and has an improved heat dissipation capability. Measurements using a segmented field emission cathode with four individually addressable tips demonstrate a consistent correlation between the emission current and the sensor signal of the metal-coated image sensor. The measured data is compared to established models of sound transmission. A focus is placed on the calculation model of ISO 12354-1 (Appendix B), which uses calculated radiation efficiencies and loss factors to predict the sound reduction index of heavy, homogeneous building elements. Some difficulties with the calculation model and the examples in the standard are discussed. In principle, the results in this study show that the calculation model of ISO 12354-1 gives good estimates when the correct input parameters are used. Um dieses Forschungsfeld thematisch zu strukturieren, eignet sich ein Scoping Review. Im Folgenden werden ausschließlich Ergebnisse pr{\"a}sentiert, die im Themenblock „Intensiv- und Beatmungspflege" Erkenntnisse zu den zwei Forschungsfragen ergeben: 1. Welche Faktoren beg{\"u}nstigen die Lebensqualit{\"a}t bei beatmeten Menschen v.a. bei einer Versorgung im außerklinischen Setting? 2. Welche Faktoren forcieren das Weaning in einem außerklinischen Setting und unter welchen Bedingungen wirken sie? Methode Google Scholar, PubMed, CINAHL, CareLit, LIVIVO, Cochrane Library sowie Web of Science wurden mit vorab definierten Suchbegriffen durchsucht. Nach zwei Extraktionen verblieben 401 Treffer. Die Abstract-Sichtungen f{\"u}hrten zu einer thematischen B{\"u}ndelung. Im Themenblock „Intensiv- und Beatmungspflege" wurden 120 Volltexte gesichtet. Ergebnisse Aus den Ergebnissen ist zu folgern, dass die Datenlage als wenig suffizient bewertet wird. Die Lebensqualit{\"a}t von dauerhaft beatmeten Menschen scheint sehr heterogen zu sein. Als positiv wirksam erweisen sich die Faktoren Selbstbestimmung, eine offene und empathische Kommunikation aller Beteiligten sowie das Eingebundensein der Patientinnen und Patienten in soziale Netzwerke. Zur Qualit{\"a}tsgew{\"a}hrleistung ist eine hohe Fachkompetenz der Pflegekr{\"a}fte n{\"o}tig. Anhaltender Fachpersonalmangel wirkt sich qualit{\"a}tsmindernd aus. Weaning-Potentiale werden bislang in der Außerklinik nicht ausreichend ausgesch{\"o}pft. Intersektorale Versorgungskonzepte werden diskutiert. Diskussion Die Themen der außerklinischen Intensivpflege sowie des Weanings sind auf Basis der Aspekte eines selbstbestimmten und zufriedenen Lebens kaum evaluiert. Weitere Forschungsaktivit{\"a}ten insbesondere mit R{\"u}cksicht auf die Betroffenensicht sind angezeigt, weil sich andeutet, dass gerade die Selbstbestimmung im Weaning-Prozess zur Lebensqualit{\"a}t der schwer erkrankten Menschen beitr{\"a}gt. Background In 2021, a transitional form of housing for outpatient weaning has been certified based on paragraph 17 of the Bavarian Law on Quality Assurance of Care and Housing. In order to get an overview over the research field, a scoping review was carried out. In particular, two research questions were focussed: 1. Which factors are beneficial for the quality of life of people who have to receive artificial respiration in an outpatient setting? 2. Which factors enforce weaning in an outpatient setting and what are conditions facilitating weaning? Methods Seven data bases were searched with defined search terms. After two extractions, 401 matches were found. On the basis of an analysis of abstracts, the results were systematically categorized. In order to answer the research questions, the topic „intensive and respiration care" were chosen for closer analysis. Consequently, 120 texts were analysed more thoroughly. Results Results show that we do not have sufficient data to answer the research questions in a satisfactory manner. The life quality of people that have to be ventilated is heterogenous. What clearly enhances the life quality of care patients is self-determination and empathetic communication of patients with the relevant institutions. What is also beneficial is the inclusion of patients in social networks. In order to guarantee quality in intensive outpatient care a highly competent care staff is needed. What is obviously negative is the lack of competent personnel. It was also observed that the weaning potentials in outpatient care are not sufficiently made use of. Intersectoral care concepts are being discussed. Resilience has often been viewed as an expensive capability that drives costs. Forschungsfrage Die HAW-Professur setzt eine ausgepr{\"a}gte berufliche Kompetenz (Praxis-, Forschungs- und Lehrerfahrung) voraus und erm{\"o}glicht ein hohes Maß an Autonomie (Wilkesmann \& Lauer, 2021). Sie bietet daher optimale Voraussetzungen, um psychologische Grundbed{\"u}rfnisse im Sinne der Self-Determination Theory (Deci \& Ryan, 2000) zu erf{\"u}llen, welche wiederum ein erfolgreiches Wirken in der Arbeit erm{\"o}glichen. Im Rahmen einer deutschlandweiten Befragung von HAW-Professorinnen und -Professoren wurde deshalb der Frage nachgegangen, inwieweit Autonomie- und Kompetenzwahrnehmung und das Zugeh{\"o}rigkeitsgef{\"u}hl zur Hochschulgemeinschaft das Arbeitsengagement und die Zufriedenheit in der HAW-Professur f{\"o}rdern. Examining how persistent questionnaires are, asking the same questions twice, and comparing the results is a way to prove or falsify this statement. Our research procedure compares the results of three different questionnaires. The first questionnaire is the ILS (index of learning styles) according to the Felder-Silverman Learning Style Model (FSLSM) with about 44 questions. Learning strategies are examined with the LIST-K questionnaire consisting of 39 questions after Klingsieck. The third and last questionnaire is about personality traits. With only ten questions, Rammstedt et al. describe the BFI-10 questionnaire for personality traits. To compare results, the same study with the three named questionnaires is carried out twice with three to four months in between. The sample includes 35 students in their bachelor studies taking the course Software Engineering in a blended learning format. After collecting the questionnaire data from the students, a comparison is made in two different ways. First, we compare the data points based on the given answers. Second, a comparison is made based on the calculated questionnaire results because each of the three questionnaires has its own analysis method. For example, the analysis method of the ILS delivers as a result four integers representing the four characteristics of a learning style, while LIST-K makes a factor analysis. The results of the paper show that both the given answers and the calculated questionnaire results differ. Blood and platelets from five healthy volunteers were incubated with gas exchange (GF) and heat exchange fibers (HE) from four different commercial available new MLs representing different antithrombogenic coatings. Adherent platelets were stained with rhodamine-phalloidin. Surface coverage was quantified with ImageJ. Non-adherent platelets were stained with antibodies (CD62P, PAC-1, CD61) and fibrinogen to detect platelet activation with flow cytometry. Hemolysis of red blood cells after material contact was detected. All ECMO-materials were non-hemolytic and did not induce platelet activation. However, platetelet adhesion (median (IQR)) was significantly elevated on uncoated GFs made of polymethylpentene (GF-PMP; 12 (7-19)\%) and on GFs from the Hilite-MLs (GF-Hilite; 13 ((8-19)\%) compared to the other materials. In vitro testing of platelet adhesion disclosed significant differences of ECMO-materials with different antithrombogenic surface coatings. Instead, circulating platelets remained non-activated. For instance, the NASA provides datasets with active fire data in near real-time from the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) sensor, attached to satellites as the Suomi NPP and NOAA-20. These satellites orbit earth about 14 times a day and provide full global coverage twice a day. Using these satellites, datasets are compiled that provide locations of active fires on earth as lists of positions and timestamps. Ziele: In dieser Studie wurde der Effekt eines KI-Algorithmus zur Echtzeit-Gef{\"a}ßmarkierung bei ESD auf die Gef{\"a}ßdetektionsrate von Endoskopikern untersucht. Methodik: 59 third space Endoskopievideos wurde aus der Datenbank des Universit{\"a}tsklinikums Augsburg extrahiert. Auf 5470 Einzelbildern dieser Untersuchungen wurde submukosale Blutgef{\"a}ße annotiert. Zusammen mit weiteren 179681 unmarkierten Bildern wurde ein DeepLabV3+ neuronales Netzwerk mit einer semi-supervised learning Methode darin trainiert, submukosale Blutgef{\"a}ße auf dem endoskopischen Bild zu erkennen und in Echtzeit einzuzeichnen. Anhand eines Videotests mit 101 Videoclips und 200 vordefinierten Blutgef{\"a}ßen wurden 19 Endoskopiker mit und ohne KI Unterst{\"u}tzung getestet. Ergebnis: Der Algorithmus erkannte in dem Videotest 93.5\% der Gef{\"a}ße in einer Detektionszeit von im Median 0,3 Sekunden. Die Gef{\"a}ßdetektionsrate von Endoskopikern erh{\"o}hte sich durch KI Unterst{\"u}tzung von 56,4\% auf 72,4\% (p<0.001). Die Gef{\"a}ßdetektionszeit reduzierte sich durch KI-Unterst{\"u}tzung von 6,7 auf 5.2 Sekunden (p<0.001). Der Algorithmus zeigte eine Rate an falsch positiven Detektionen in 4.5\% der Einzelbilder. Falsch positiv erkannte Strukturen wurde k{\"u}rzer detektiert, als richtig positive (0.7 und 6.0 Sekunden, p<0.001). A comparison based on electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD) examinations yields similar results in terms of microstructure. A micrograph analysis based on the new preparation methodology also allows confirming the element distribution measurement by glow discharge optical emission spectroscopy (GDOES). Mit einem Trainingsdatensatz (898440 Einzelbilder, 17 ESDs) wurde ein Video Swin Transformer mit uniformer Stichprobenentnahme trainiert und intern validiert (769523 Einzelbilder, 6 ESDs). Neben der internen Validierung wurde der Algorithmus anhand von einem separaten Testdatensatz (403583 Einzelbilder, 4 ESDs) evaluiert. Ergebnis: Der F1 Score des Algorithmus f{\"u}r alle Klassen lag in der internen Validierung bei 83\%, in dem separaten Test bei 90\%. Anhand des separaten Tests wurden true positive (TP)-Raten f{\"u}r Diagnostik, Markierung, Nadelinjektion, Dissektion und Blutung von 100\%, 100\%, 96\%, 97\% und 93\% ermittelt. Herein, the dynamic strain response of a family of MAE cylinders to the time-harmonic (frequency of 0.1-2.5 Hz) magnetic fields of varying amplitude (12.5 kA/m-62.5 kA/m), superimposed on different bias magnetic fields (25-127 kA/m), is systematically investigated for the first time. Strain measurements are based on optical imaging with sub-pixel resolution. It is found that the dynamic strain response of MAEs is considerably different from that in conventional magnetostrictive polymer composites (MPCs), and it cannot be described by the effective piezomagnetic constant from the quasi-static measurements. The obtained maximum values of the piezomagnetic strain coefficient (∼102 nm/A) are one to two orders of magnitude higher than in conventional MPCs, but there is a significant phase lag (35-60°) in the magnetostrictive response with respect to an alternating magnetic field. The experimental dependencies of the characteristics of the alternating strain on the amplitude of the alternating field, bias field, oscillation frequency, and aspect ratio of cylinders are given for several representative examples. Due to data protection guidelines, development with clear data is often difficult. One way to overcome this difficulty is to desensitize documents using document redaction. The following study, therefore, examines the impact of redaction on the document classification performance of a deep CNN model by analyzing how the classifica- tion performance deteriorates when the model is trained on unredacted documents and evaluated on redacted data (unredacted model) or trained on redacted data and applied to unredacted documents (redacted model). For the former condition, a loss in accuracy of 2.56\%P was found and a loss of 2.08\%P for the latter. We were also able to show that the loss in performance differed greatly between document classes and was influenced by their proportion of redacted area (unredacted model: r=0.31; redacted model: r=0.87). For the model trained with redacted and evaluated on unredacted data, we also determined that the decrease in classification accu- racy was affected by the intra-class variability of the redacted area (r=0.74). However, current standards rely on outdated and restrictive methods, imposing severe limitations on pipeline material and structural design. As a result, projects that fall outside these standards face the need for extremely costly tests, often leading to delays or cancellations of CCTS initiatives. This study introduces an advanced, validated, fully-coupled fluid-structure interaction (FSI) model designed to accurately predict fracture propagation in CO2 pipelines. A key advantage of this approach is its use of robust and reproducible calibration and validation procedures combined with high-quality material characterization data. The full coupling of structural, fluid, and backfill models is essential for obtaining precise results, not only in determining arrest occurrence but also in analyzing properties such as fracture velocity history, 3D pressure distributions behind the propagating crack, wall thinning, and crack tip opening angle. The FSI model has demonstrated its value as a cost-effective tool for safety assessments, enabling the development of fracture control plans that specify minimum required material properties and fluid compositions for optimized pipeline design, both onshore and offshore. Additionally, performing virtual studies with the parameterized FSI model enables the generation of synthetic data for training and validating a machine learning surrogate model. Although its tendency to localized corrosion is a limiting factor in its use. Electropolishing is a widely used process for improving the surface roughness and corrosion behavior of metals. However, there is a lack of knowledge about the electropolishing of magnesium and its alloys. In this study, an optimal electropolishing process for AZ31 was developed to improve the surface properties by varying the electrolyte concentration and the applied potential. The electrolyte composition was a mixture of phosphoric acid, ethanol and deionized water. The applied potentials were selected based on measured current density potential curves. Thereby, electropolishing was performed up to an electric charge of 18 As. The experimental results indicate that the electropolishing process should be carried out at a low current density to avoid bubble evolution and surface defects. Therefore, the concentration of the electropolishing electrolyte should have an appropriate low conductivity, and the applied potential should be in the transient or passive region of the polarization curve recorded prior to electropolishing. It could be shown that an optimized electropolishing process improved the surface of AZ31 by providing a bright and mirror-like surface and a lower roughness compared to a mechanically ground surface.}, language = {en} }
