It also examines the terms and procedures, which organizations use to act within their environment. For that purpose theoretical approaches with regard to the action of organizations will be presented. Based on the fundamental difference between action and structure, theoretical types of actors will be outlined first. Then the relationship between acting, identity and responsibility will be discussed. Additionally, the role of agents and the relevance of social myths for the action of organizations will be analyzed. Finally some research perspectives will be presented.
