FAQ

What types of documents can be published on OPUS?

Members of the Technische Hochschule Nürnberg may use OHMdok to electronically publish books, essays, congress and project reports, preprints and other academic documents. (See also: Which document types are available?) Staff and students may register new entries in the university bibliography at any anytime. If the appropriate legal permission has been obtained from the copyright owner, the complete texts may be made available online.
The publication of student theses – i.e., final research papers for obtaining bachelor’s and master’s degrees – requires the permission of the supervising professor at the Technische Hochschule Nürnberg. Titles, abstracts and full texts of student theses are published in the student theses section of OHMdok Permission

Other student papers will be accepted for full-text publication only on the recommendation of the supervising professor. The OHMdok server has not been designed for course catalogues, announcements, invitations, or other documents of temporary relevance.
