    <title language="deu">Implementierung und Vergleich verschiedener Strategien zur Durchführung von Ethernet Performance Messungen</title>
    <abstract language="deu">Performancemessungen von Netzwerkverbindungen spielen gerade für Echtzeitanwendungen eine große Rolle. Hierbei ist besonders die Paketlaufzeit und deren Verlauf über einen längeren Zeitraum von Interesse. Bisher wurde diese durch IPPM1-Messungen[1] bestimmt, welche auf dem UDP-Protokoll basieren. Für direkte Layer-2- Verbindungen sind aber auch Messungen auf dieser Schicht möglich, um eine genauere Abbildung der vorhandenen Dienstgüte zu erhalten. Im Folgenden wird eine durch drei Implementierungen umgesetzte Messmethode vorgestellt, welche Messungen auf der hardwarenahen Sicherungsschicht des ISO/OSI-Protokollstapels ermöglicht und auch die im Betriebssystem entstehenden Delays ermitteln kann. Der Vergleich mit der IPPM-Messung zeigt die Vorteile der direkteren Messung.</abstract>
