Paper 2 elaborates implications from the risk of an increased number of zombie firms for German restructuring practice in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. In restructuring situations, not only financial but also non-financial aspects play a role in terms of CSP. While previous research has examined the relationship between CSP and insolvency risk exclusively in periods of economic crisis, paper 3 considers a period of upswing. The implications from this research for corporate management are elaborated in paper 4.show moreshow less
