Durch eine qualitative Studie werden im ersten Beitrag Erfolgsfaktoren für das Management von Dienstleistungsnetzwerken in einem industriellen Kontext identifiziert. Der zweite Beitrag zeigt mit einer quantitativen Studie Erfolgsfaktoren für die Portfolioerweiterung durch Dienstleistungen auf. Darüber hinaus identifiziert der Artikel die Bedeutung der Effizienz und Effektivität von Dienstleistungen im Rahmen der Service Transition. Der dritte und vierte Beitrag forcieren den Forschungsstrang der Dienstleistungsproduktivität. In einem konzeptionellen Beitrag werden in dem dritten Artikel die dienstleistungsspezifischen Anforderungen an Produktivität diskutiert. Darüber hinaus gibt der Beitrag einen Überblick über den Status Quo der Forschung. Der Fokus liegt hierbei auf Determinanten und der Operationalisierung der Dienstleistungsproduktivität. Der vierte Artikel entwickelt ein Optimierungsmodell für Produktivität in Dienstleistungsunternehmen und kombiniert hierbei Operations- und Marketingwissenschaften. Drawing on a qualitative approach the first paper identifies how industrial services can be managed successfully. The second article identifies success factors of managing the service transition on firm-level. Beyond, the article identifies the importance of efficiency and effectiveness within a service transition context. The third and fourth articles focus on service productivity. The third article discusses specific requirements of understanding and managing service productivity drawing on a structured literature review. In so doing the article provides an overview on the status quo of research on service productivity. The fourth article develops an optimization model or service productivity combining operational and marketing sciences.
