INNOVATION-CONDUCIVE LEADERSHIP IN A SMALL AUTOMOTIVE BUSINESS ENTERPRISE

  • Due to the global competition within the automotive industry, the industry, its products, and its services are constantly changing and improving. An organization within this industry needs to strive for innovations in order to become or to stay competitive. Leaders within such an organization can contribute to establishing an innovation-conducive culture within their organization. This work focuses on fields of application of innovation-conducive leadership in such an organization, and on what obstacles a leader might find when fostering innovations in a company. The work is strongly based on findings from a small German automotive research and development enterprise, gives recommendations, and depicts examples of use.
