A sample of over 3,100 high-level public sector executives from six European countries, provided evidence of significant country variations. Considerable variations were also found in patterns of use in different policy fields; and performance indicators were not used as often in central government as in local and regional government. Implementation of performance management instruments in an organization had a strong effect on the actual use of performance information.}, language = {en} } @techreport{HammerschmidvandeWalleAndrewsetal., type = {Working Paper}, author = {Hammerschmid, Gerhard and van de Walle, Steven and Andrews, Rhys and Bezes, Philippe and G{\"o}rnitz, Anja and Oprisor, Anja and Stimac, Vid}, title = {Public Administration Reform in Europe: Views and Experiences from Senior Executives in 10 Countries : WP3 Cross-national report as part of the COCOPS Research Project}, series = {COCOPS Work Package 3: Survey of public managers}, journal = {COCOPS Work Package 3: Survey of public managers}, publisher = {COCOPS}, address = {[Rotterdam [u.a.]]}, pages = {66}, language = {en} }
