The efficiency of long-term medical rehabilitation often depends on the commitment and compliance of the affected person. After the initial therapy phase in a rehabilitation center, the motivation to maintain the gained activity level in the domestic environment can decrease rapidly. Therefore, the technologies of medical technology and telemedicine can and should be combined for virtual coaching and medical rehabilitation that can be performed at home. In this article, four possibilities of telematic rehabilitation will be presented.
