The new profile UMLsec4UML2 is technically constructed as a UML profile diagram, which is equipped with a number of integrity conditions expressed using OCL. Consequently, the UMLsec4UML2-profile can be loaded in any Eclipse-based EMF- and MDT-compatible UML editing tool to develop and analyze different kinds of security models. The OCL constraints replace the static checks of the tool support for the old UMLsec defined for UML 1.5. Thus, the UMLsec4UML2-profile not only provides the whole expresiveness of UML2.3 for security modeling, it also brings considerably more freedom in selecting a basic UML editing tool, and it integrates modeling and analyzing security models. Since UML2.3 comprises new diagram types, as well as new model elements and new semantics of diagram types already contained in UML1.5, we consider a number of these changes in detail. More specifically, we consider composite structure and sequence diagrams with respect to modeling security properties according to the original version of UMLsec. Listening to music before, during, or after sports is a common phenomenon, yet its functions and effects on performance, cognition, and behavior remain to be investigated. In this study we present a novel approach to the role of music in sports and exercise that focuses on the notion of musical self-enhancement (Elvers, 2016). We derived the following hypotheses from this framework: listening to motivational music will (i) enhance self-evaluative cognition, (ii) improve performance in a ball game, and (iii) evoke greater risk-taking behavior. To evaluate the hypotheses, we conducted a between-groups experiment (N = 150) testing the effectiveness of both an experimenter playlist and a participant-selected playlist in comparison to a no-music control condition. All participants performed a ball-throwing task developed by Decharms and Dav{\´e} (1965), consisting of two parts: First, participants threw the ball from fixed distances into a funnel basket. During this task, performance was measured. In the second part, the participants themselves chose distances from the basket, which allowed their risk-taking behavior to be assessed. The results indicate that listening to motivational music led to greater risk taking but did not improve ball-throwing performance. This effect was more pronounced in male participants and among those who listened to their own playlists. Furthermore, self-selected music enhanced state self-esteem in participants who were performing well but not in those who were performing poorly. We also discuss further implications for the notion of musical self-enhancement. // Listening to music before, during, or after sports is a common phenomenon, yet its functions and effects on performance, cognition, and behavior remain to be investigated. Until now, little has been written about the processes underlying the selection of music in daily life. The present study aimed to disentangle some of the complex processes among the listener, situation, and functions of music listening involved in music selection. Utilizing the experience sampling method, data were collected from 119 participants using a smartphone application. For 10 consecutive days, participants received 14 prompts using stratified-random sampling throughout the day and reported on their music-listening behavior. Statistical learning procedures on multilevel regression models and multilevel structural equation modeling were used to determine the most important predictors and analyze mediation processes between person, situation, functions of listening, and music selection. Results revealed that the features of music selected in daily life were predominantly determined by situational characteristics, whereas consistent individual differences were of minor importance. Functions of music listening were found to act as a mediator between characteristics of the situation and music-selection behavior. We further observed several significant random effects, which indicated that individuals differed in how situational variables affected their music selection behavior. Our findings suggest a need to shift the focus of music-listening research from individual differences to situational influences, including potential person-situation interactions.}, language = {en} } @article{LuizardSteffensWeinzierl2020, author = {Luizard, Paul and Steffens, Jochen and Weinzierl, Stefan}, title = {Singing in different rooms: Common or individual adaptation patterns to the acoustic conditions?}, series = {The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America}, volume = {147}, journal = {The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America}, number = {2}, publisher = {ASA}, doi = {10.1121/10.0000715}, year = {2020}, language = {en} } @misc{GottschaldReichAdam2021, author = {Gottschald, Jonas and Reich, Marius and Adam, Mario}, title = {Lernende Algorithmen - K{\"u}nstliche Intelligenz f{\"u}r W{\"a}rmenetze}, series = {hn21 Journal}, journal = {hn21 Journal}, number = {2021}, publisher = {Zentrum f{\"u}r Forschungskommunikation}, address = {K{\"o}ln}, pages = {8 -- 8}, year = {2021}, language = {de} } @article{vanRiessenAghamiriStreck2021, author = {van Rießen, Anne and Aghamiri, Kathrin and Streck, Rebekka}, title = {Einblicke in pandemische Alltage der Kinder- und Jugendhilfe oder: Was macht eigentlich 'gute' Soziale Arbeit aus?}, series = {Forum f{\"u}r Kinder- und Jugendarbeit}, volume = {37}, journal = {Forum f{\"u}r Kinder- und Jugendarbeit}, number = {3/4}, publisher = {Verb. The aim is to provide a safe and environmentally acceptable micro-scale heat engine, which can be developed, implemented and used in university labs for the education of students as well as for small research projects. The test rig allows the support of several learning outcomes on a multi-disciplinary level particularly for the implementation and simulation of small power systems. Special attention was given to the organic working fluid characteristics and its selection process. In addition to the above-mentioned performance goals, favourable safety properties and low global warming potential were decisive in the selection of the novel organic fluid called 3M™ Novec™ 649. The performance and the fluid behaviour of Novec 649 in a micro-scale power cycle are of major interest and the research goal for the test rig presented in this paper. Due to the expected power output of 1 kW, a scroll expander was chosen as the generator drive for the micro plant. In order to design the major parts of the ORC, the thermodynamic simulation software EBSILON®Professional was used. The supply temperature was set to 140 °C. As a result of the simulation, feasible expander inlet pressures spread from 5.5 bar to 8.5 bar. This leads to thermal efficiencies of the ORC in the order of 5 \%. Adding a recuperator to the cycle system decreases the operating pressure range but in the end, the thermal efficiency can be increased by 1.5 \%-points up to 6.2 \%. Finally, an automated control concept is introduced, where the pump is controlled via the fill level measurement system.}, language = {en} } @article{DeckertKalefeldKutz2020, author = {Deckert, Carsten and Kalefeld, Jannik and Kutz, Martin}, title = {Gesch{\"a}ftsmodelle f{\"u}r das Internet der Dinge: Welche Gesch{\"a}ftsmodellinnovation passt zum Unternehmen?}, series = {ZWF Zeitschrift f{\"u}r wirtschaftlichen Fabrikbetrieb}, volume = {115}, journal = {ZWF Zeitschrift f{\"u}r wirtschaftlichen Fabrikbetrieb}, number = {12}, publisher = {Hanser}, issn = {0947-0085}, doi = {10.3139/104.112265}, pages = {928 -- 933}, year = {2020}, language = {de} } @article{UnterfraunerVoigtHofer2021, author = {Unterfrauner, Elisabeth and Voigt, Christian and Hofer, Margit}, title = {The effect of maker and entrepreneurial education on self-efficacy and creativity}, series = {Entrepreneurship Education}, volume = {4}, journal = {Entrepreneurship Education}, number = {4}, publisher = {Springer Nature}, issn = {2520-8152}, doi = {10.1007/s41959-021-00060-w}, pages = {403 -- 424}, year = {2021}, language = {en} } @article{UnterfraunerVoigt2017, author = {Unterfrauner, Elisabeth and Voigt, Christian}, title = {Makers' ambitions to do socially valuable things}, series = {The Design Journal}, volume = {20}, journal = {The Design Journal}, number = {sup1}, publisher = {Taylor \& Francis}, issn = {1756-3062}, doi = {10.1080/14606925.2017.1352835}, pages = {3317 -- 3325}, year = {2017}, language = {en} } @inproceedings{LippelBeckerZielke2019, author = {Lippel, Jens and Becker, Martin and Zielke, Thomas}, title = {Modeling Dynamic Processes with Deep Neural Networks: A Case Study with a Gas-fired Absorption Heat Pump}, series = {SIMULTECH 2019: Proceedings of the 9th International Conference on Simulation and Modeling Methodologies, Technologies and Applications : Prague, Czech RepublicJuly 29-31, 2019}, booktitle = {SIMULTECH 2019: Proceedings of the 9th International Conference on Simulation and Modeling Methodologies, Technologies and Applications : Prague, Czech RepublicJuly 29-31, 2019}, editor = {Obaidat, Mohammad S. and {\"O}ren, Tuncer and Szczerbicka, Helena}, publisher = {INSTICC}, isbn = {978-989-758-381-0}, doi = {10.5220/0007932903170326}, pages = {317 -- 326}, year = {2019}, language = {en} } @inproceedings{FaberAnthrakidisLanzetal.2011, author = {Faber, Christian and Anthrakidis, Anette and Lanz, Marco and Rusack, Markus and Weis, Fabian and Adam, Mario and Schramm, Sebastian}, title = {Barriers to solar process heat applications,}, series = {SWC 2011: ISES Solar World Congress, 28 August - 2 September 2011, Kassel, Germany}, booktitle = {SWC 2011: ISES Solar World Congress, 28 August - 2 September 2011, Kassel, Germany}, address = {Kassel}, pages = {1326 -- 1334}, year = {2011}, language = {en} } @article{SeebacherVanaVoigtetal.2021, author = {Seebacher, Lisa M. and Vana, Irina and Voigt, Christian and Tschank, Juliet}, title = {Is Science for Everyone? The implementation of innovative control and optimization algorithms, such as Nonlinear Model Predictive Control, requires an online estimation of operating states of biogas plants. This state estimation allows for optimal control and operating decisions according to the actual state of a plant. In this paper such a state estimator is developed using a calibrated simulation model of a full-scale biogas plant, which is based on the Anaerobic Digestion Model No.1. The use of advanced pattern recognition methods shows that model states can be predicted from basic online measurements such as biogas production, CH4 and CO2 content in the biogas, pH value and substrate feed volume of known substrates. The machine learning methods used are trained and evaluated using synthetic data created with the biogas plant model simulating over a wide range of possible plant operating regions. Results show that the operating state vector of the modelled anaerobic digestion process can be predicted with an overall accuracy of about 90\%. This facilitates the application of state-based optimization and control algorithms on full-scale biogas plants and therefore fosters the production of eco-friendly energy from biomass.}, language = {en} } @article{TaymazAslanBenim2015, author = {Taymaz, Imdat and Aslan, Erman and Benim, Ali Cemal}, title = {Numerical investigation of incompressible fluid flow and heat transfer across a bluff body in a channel flow}, series = {Thermal Science}, volume = {19}, journal = {Thermal Science}, number = {2}, publisher = {doiSerbia}, doi = {10.2298/tsci120220145t}, pages = {537 -- 547}, year = {2015}, language = {en} } @article{HeninStelmaszczykPetrarcaetal.2013, author = {Henin, S. and Stelmaszczyk, K. and Petrarca, M. and Rohwetter, P. and Hao, Z. Currently, there are no means available to detect ash in flight as the particles are too fine (radii < 30 μm) for on-board radar detection and, even in good visibility, ash clouds are difficult or impossible to detect by eye. The economic cost and societal impact of the April/May 2010 Icelandic eruption of Eyjafjallaj{\"o}kull generated renewed interest in finding ways to identify airborne volcanic ash in order to keep airspace open and avoid aircraft groundings. We have designed and built a bi-spectral, fast-sampling, uncooled infrared camera device (AVOID) to examine its ability to detect volcanic ash from commercial jet aircraft at distances of more than 50 km ahead. Here we report results of an experiment conducted over the Atlantic Ocean, off the coast of France, confirming the ability of the device to detect and quantify volcanic ash in an artificial ash cloud created by dispersal of volcanic ash from a second aircraft. A third aircraft was used to measure the ash in situ using optical particle counters. The cloud was composed of very fine ash (mean radii ~10 μm) collected from Iceland immediately after the Eyjafjallaj{\"o}kull eruption and had a vertical thickness of ~200 m, a width of ~2 km and length of between 2 and 12 km. Concentrations of ~200 μg m(-3) were identified by AVOID at distances from ~20 km to ~70 km. For the first time, airborne remote detection of volcanic ash has been successfully demonstrated from a long-range flight test aircraft.}, language = {en} } @article{HeinzeFehselJappe2019, author = {Heinze, Thomas and Fehsel, Imke and Jappe, Arlette}, title = {Reformimpulse durch hochschulpolitische Beratung? Rituals are also common in obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). In contrast to OCD, the proposed associations between rituals and intrusive thoughts/appearance preoccupation have not been empirically investigated for BDD. We examined if the assumed effect of gazing rituals on attractiveness ratings exists and if it is associated with dissociation. In an experiment, we asked N = 65 non-clinical females to focus on the nose of a photographed face at pre- and post-test. In between, participants gazed at the nose of either the same (relevant gazing) or another face (irrelevant gazing). We found increasing dissociation after gazing in both conditions and a differentially stronger decrease of attractiveness ratings in the relevant gazing condition. Our findings support the hypothesized effect of gazing rituals on attractiveness evaluation in cognitive-behavioral models for BDD.}, language = {en} } @article{WiesmannYounSuhKaluzaetal.2020, author = {Wiesmann, Thomas and Youn Suh, Sung and Kaluza, Stefan and Lohmann, Heiko and Zeidler-Fandrich, Barbara}, title = {Catalytic Oxygen Removal from Synthetic Coke Oven Gas: A Comparison of Sulfided CoMo/γ-Al 2 O 3 and NiMo/γ-Al 2 O 3 Catalysts with Pt/γ-Al 2 O 3 as Benchmark Catalyst}, series = {Chemie Ingenieur Technik}, volume = {92}, journal = {Chemie Ingenieur Technik}, number = {10}, publisher = {Wiley}, doi = {10.1002/cite.202000067}, pages = {1533 -- 1541}, year = {2020}, language = {en} } @article{WittonGrameltSkalskaetal.2020, author = {Witton, Tom and Gramelt, Katja and Skalska, Agata and Thole, Werner}, title = {Kinder als „Stakeholder" in Kindertageseinrichtungen [KiSte] - Studie zu den Sichtweisen der Kinder auf institutionelle Arrangements}, series = {Soziale Passagen}, volume = {12}, journal = {Soziale Passagen}, number = {1}, publisher = {Springer Nature}, doi = {10.1007/s12592-020-00339-0}, pages = {197 -- 202}, year = {2020}, language = {de} } @article{KacsoVidreanNiemannBaidocetal.2018, author = {Kacso-Vidrean, Lorand and Niemann, J{\"o}rg and Baidoc, Raluca and Pisla, Adrian}, title = {Change Management Aspects in Solar Energy Implementation}, series = {Procedia - Social and Behavioral Sciences}, volume = {238}, journal = {Procedia - Social and Behavioral Sciences}, publisher = {Elsevier}, doi = {10.1016/j.sbspro.2018.04.021}, pages = {432 -- 441}, year = {2018}, subject = {FliX}, language = {en} } @article{GrotkampCibisBrueggemannetal.2020, author = {Grotkamp, Sabine and Cibis, Wolfgang and Br{\"u}ggemann, Silke and Coenen, M.
