In contrast to classical man-made machines, much of the cellular organization originates from inherent self-assembly and self-organization allowing a high degree of autonomy for various functional units. Recent experimental and theoretical studies revealed numerous examples of cytoskeleton components that arrange and organize in a self-regulative way. In the present review we want to shortly summarize some of the principle mechanisms that are able to inherently trigger and regulate the cytoskeleton organization. Although taken individually most of these regulative principles are rather simple with intuitively predictable consequences, combinations of two or more of these mechanisms can quickly give rise to very complex, unexpected behavior and might even be able to explain the formation of different functional units out of a common pool of available building blocks.}, language = {en} } @misc{JaroschHerderLangmann2022, author = {Jarosch, Monika and Herder, Jens and Langmann, Mathias}, title = {Entwicklung einer AR-Applikation zur kosteneffektiven volumetrischen Erfassung von Baugruben}, series = {gis.Science}, volume = {2022}, journal = {gis. Therefore, we conducted a study based on the Experience Sampling Method to measure the relative contribution of a broad range of potentially relevant acoustic and non-auditory variables in predicting indoor soundscape evaluations. Here we present the comprehensive dataset for which 105 participants reported temporally (rather) stable trait variables such as noise sensitivity, trait affect, and quality of life. They rated 6.594 situations regarding the soundscape standard dimensions, perceived loudness, and the saliency of its sound components and evaluated situational variables such as state affect, perceived control, activity, and location. To complement these subject-centered data, we additionally crowdsourced object-centered data by having participants make binaural measurements of each indoor soundscape at their homes using a low-(self-)noise recorder. These recordings were used to compute (psycho-)acoustical indices such as the energetically averaged loudness level, the A-weighted energetically averaged equivalent continuous sound pressure level, and the A-weighted five-percent exceedance level. This complex hierarchical data can be used to investigate time-varying non-auditory influences on sound perception and to develop soundscape indicators based on the binaural recordings to predict soundscape evaluations.}, subject = {soundscape}, language = {en} } @article{KernebeckHollePogschebaetal.2019, author = {Kernebeck, Sven and Holle, Daniela and Pogscheba, Patrick and Jordan, Felix and Mertl, Fabian and Huldtgren, Alina and Bader, Sebastian and Kirste, Thomas and Teipel, Stefan and Holle, Bernhard and Halek, Margareta}, title = {A Tablet App- and Sensor-Based Assistive Technology Intervention for Informal Caregivers to Manage the Challenging Behavior of People With Dementia (the insideDEM Study): Protocol for a Feasibility Study}, series = {JMIR research protocols}, volume = {8}, journal = {JMIR research protocols}, number = {2}, publisher = {JMIR}, doi = {10.2196/11630}, year = {2019}, language = {en} } @inproceedings{MertlDewitzBraasetal.2015, author = {Mertl, Fabian and Dewitz, Bastian and Braas, Uli and Glomb, Arthur and Huldtgren, Alina and Vormann, Anja and Geiger, Christian}, title = {Erinnerungsfenster f{\"u}r Demenzkranke}, series = {Mensch und Computer 2015 - Tagungsband}, booktitle = {Mensch und Computer 2015 - Tagungsband}, editor = {Pielot, Martin and Diefenbach, Sarah and Henze, Niels}, publisher = {De Gruyter}, address = {Berlin, M{\"u}nchen, Boston}, isbn = {9783110443929}, doi = {10.1515/9783110443929-037}, pages = {295 -- 302}, year = {2015}, language = {de} } @inproceedings{DielmannHuldtgren2015, author = {Dielmann, Steffen and Huldtgren, Alina}, title = {Eine haptische Lichtsteuerung f{\"u}r Senioren in Smart Environments}, series = {Mensch und Computer 2015 - Tagungsband}, booktitle = {Mensch und Computer 2015 - Tagungsband}, editor = {Pielot, Martin and Diefenbach, Sarah and Henze, Niels}, publisher = {De Gruyter}, address = {Berlin, M{\"u}nchen, Boston}, isbn = {9783110443929}, doi = {10.1515/9783110443929-035}, pages = {287 -- 290}, year = {2015}, language = {en} } @article{JacobsHuldtgren2021, author = {Jacobs, Naomi and Huldtgren, Alina}, title = {Why value sensitive design needs ethical commitments}, series = {Ethics and Information Technology}, volume = {23}, journal = {Ethics and Information Technology}, number = {1}, publisher = {Springer Nature}, issn = {1572-8439}, doi = {10.1007/s10676-018-9467-3}, pages = {23 -- 26}, year = {2021}, language = {en} } @inproceedings{HuldtgrenKlapperichEndter2022, author = {Huldtgren, Alina and Klapperich, Holger and Endter, Cordula}, title = {Next Steps for User Integration in ICT for Aging Well}, series = {Proceedings of the 8th International Conference on Information and Communication Technologies for Ageing Well and e-Health April 23-25, 2022}, booktitle = {Proceedings of the 8th International Conference on Information and Communication Technologies for Ageing Well and e-Health April 23-25, 2022}, editor = {Ziefle, Martina and Mulvenna, Maurice and Maciaszek, Leszek}, publisher = {SciTePress}, isbn = {978-989-758-566-1}, issn = {2184-4984}, doi = {10.5220/0011072700003188}, pages = {291 -- 298}, year = {2022}, language = {en} } @inproceedings{WohlmacherMertlKlapperichetal.2022, author = {Wohlmacher, Bernhard and Mertl, Fabian and Klapperich, Holger and Huldtgren, Alina}, title = {Hybrid Ludo: Combination of a Tangible UI for Seniors and a Web-based Ludo Game}, series = {Proceedings of the 8th International Conference on Information and Communication Technologies for Ageing Well and e-Health, April 23-25, 2022}, booktitle = {Proceedings of the 8th International Conference on Information and Communication Technologies for Ageing Well and e-Health, April 23-25, 2022}, editor = {Ziefle, Martina and Mulvenna, Maurice and Maciaszek, Leszek}, publisher = {SciTePress}, isbn = {978-989-758-566-1}, issn = {2184-4984}, doi = {10.5220/0011069500003188}, pages = {283 -- 290}, year = {2022}, language = {en} } @techreport{BuegeSchoopSelinski2024, author = {B{\"u}ge, Till and Schoop, Sven and Selinski, Luca}, title = {Wie gut, dass keiner weiß - Anonymit{\"a}t im Web (inklusive Dark Net)}, series = {Problemf{\"a}lle des E-Business - Tracking und Anonymit{\"a}t}, journal = {Problemf{\"a}lle des E-Business - Tracking und Anonymit{\"a}t}, editor = {Rakow, Thomas C.}, address = {D{\"u}sseldorf}, organization = {Hochschule D{\"u}sseldorf}, pages = {1 -- 20}, year = {2024}, abstract = {In dieser Arbeit wird ein umfassender {\"U}berblick {\"u}ber die Entwicklung und die gegenw{\"a}rtige Bedeutung von Anonymit{\"a}t im Internet, einschließlich des Dark Nets, gegeben.
