The SOCQ-ED measures stages of change separately for each eating disorder symptom domain. Psychometric properties were assessed in a sample of N=63 women with Anorexia Nervosa or Bulimia Nervosa. Test-retest reliability ranged from rtt=0.42 to 0.78 (Mdn=0.56), correlations with the University of Rhode Island Change Assessment were between r=0.21 and 0.32 and correlations with measurements of eating pathology ranged from r=0.19 to 0.46. The results provide initial support for the reliability and validity of the SOCQ-ED.}, language = {de} } @article{VocksKosfelderWuchereretal.2008, author = {Vocks, Silja and Kosfelder, Joachim and Wucherer, Maike and W{\"a}chter, Alexandra}, title = {Does habitual body avoidance and checking behavior influence the decrease of negative emotions during body exposure in eating disorders?}, series = {Psychotherapy research}, volume = {18}, journal = {Psychotherapy research}, number = {4}, publisher = {Taylor \& Francis}, doi = {10.1080/10503300701797008}, pages = {412 -- 419}, year = {2008}, language = {en} } @article{HoetzelvonBrachelSchmidtetal.2014, author = {H{\"o}tzel, K. and von Brachel, R. and Schmidt, U. and Rieger, E. and Kosfelder, Joachim and Hechler, T. and Schulte, D. and Vocks, Silja}, title = {An Internet-based program to enhance motivation to change in females with symptoms of an eating disorder: a randomized controlled trial}, series = {Psychological medicine}, volume = {44}, journal = {Psychological medicine}, number = {9}, publisher = {Cambridge University Press}, doi = {10.1017/s0033291713002481}, pages = {1947 -- 1963}, year = {2014}, language = {en} } @article{VocksWaechterWuchereretal.2008, author = {Vocks, Silja and W{\"a}chter, Alexandra and Wucherer, Maike and Kosfelder, Joachim}, title = {Look at yourself: can body image therapy affect the cognitive and emotional response to seeing oneself in the mirror in eating disorders?}, series = {European eating disorders review : the journal of the Eating Disorders Association}, volume = {16}, journal = {European eating disorders review : the journal of the Eating Disorders Association}, number = {2}, publisher = {Wiley}, doi = {10.1002/erv.825}, pages = {147 -- 154}, year = {2008}, abstract = {The study examined whether the extent of negative body-related thoughts and emotions evoked by looking in a mirror can be changed by cognitive-behavioural body image therapy (BIT) and whether any remaining cognitive and affective responses dropped faster after the treatment. Females with eating disorders (n = 17) looked in a mirror for 40 minutes under standardised conditions before and after BIT. A control group (CG) (n = 24) was also exposed to their own bodies twice. Cognitive and affective reactions were assessed four times during the session. Hierarchical Linear Modelling revealed that among eating-disordered patients, the entrance levels of negative thoughts and feelings were lower at post compared to pre-BIT, whereas they remained stable in the CG. The extent of reduction of the remaining body image distress was not changed after the treatment. BIT seems to be a potent treatment of negative emotions and cognitions in an in vivo situation.}, language = {en} }
