Parent training is an effective treatment for these children and there is growing interest in the effects of parent-administered interventions with minimal therapist contact. This randomized controlled study examined the efficacy of a telephone-assisted parent-administered behavioural intervention (bibliotherapy) in families with preschool children with externalizing problem behaviour. Families were randomly assigned to a treatment group (n = 26) and an untreated waitlist control group (n = 22). The intervention comprised the reading of an 11 chapter self-help book and 11 weekly telephone consultations. Compared to the control group, the treatment group demonstrated significant decreases in parent-reported externalizing and internalizing child problem behaviour and dysfunctional parenting practices. Moreover, treated parents reported less parenting-related strains and decreases in parental depression, anxiety, and stress. The results suggest that telephone-assisted self-administered parent training is an effective alternative to more intensive forms of behavioural family intervention for preschool children with externalizing problem behaviour.}, language = {en} } @article{HeinemannLeiberGress2013, author = {Heinemann, Stephanie and Leiber, Simone and Gress, Stefan}, title = {Managed competition in the Netherlands-a qualitative study}, series = {Health policy}, volume = {109}, journal = {Health policy}, number = {2}, publisher = {Elsevier}, doi = {10.1016/j.healthpol.2012.08.025}, pages = {113 -- 121}, year = {2013}, language = {en} } @article{HautmannHoijtinkEichelbergeretal.2013, author = {Hautmann, Christopher and Hoijtink, Herbert and Eichelberger, Ilka and G{\"o}rtz-Dorten, Anja and Hanisch, Charlotte and Pl{\"u}ck, Julia and Walter, Daniel and D{\"o}pfner, Manfred}, title = {Any indication for bias due to participation? Rituals are also common in obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). In contrast to OCD, the proposed associations between rituals and intrusive thoughts/appearance preoccupation have not been empirically investigated for BDD. We examined if the assumed effect of gazing rituals on attractiveness ratings exists and if it is associated with dissociation. In an experiment, we asked N = 65 non-clinical females to focus on the nose of a photographed face at pre- and post-test. In between, participants gazed at the nose of either the same (relevant gazing) or another face (irrelevant gazing). We found increasing dissociation after gazing in both conditions and a differentially stronger decrease of attractiveness ratings in the relevant gazing condition. Our findings support the hypothesized effect of gazing rituals on attractiveness evaluation in cognitive-behavioral models for BDD.}, language = {en} } @article{ElQasem2019, author = {El-Qasem, Kawthar}, title = {Oral transmission as meta-occupation: The significance of historically passed on meanings of everyday life in processes of deculturalization}, series = {Journal of Occupational Science}, volume = {26}, journal = {Journal of Occupational Science}, number = {2}, publisher = {Taylor \& Francis}, issn = {2158-1576}, doi = {10.1080/14427591.2019.1608843}, pages = {275 -- 293}, year = {2019}, language = {en} } @article{WittonGrameltSkalskaetal.2020, author = {Witton, Tom and Gramelt, Katja and Skalska, Agata and Thole, Werner}, title = {Kinder als „Stakeholder" in Kindertageseinrichtungen [KiSte] - Studie zu den Sichtweisen der Kinder auf institutionelle Arrangements}, series = {Soziale Passagen}, volume = {12}, journal = {Soziale Passagen}, number = {1}, publisher = {Springer Nature}, doi = {10.1007/s12592-020-00339-0}, pages = {197 -- 202}, year = {2020}, language = {de} } @article{Virchow2020, author = {Virchow, Fabian}, title = {On the complexity of emotions in social discourse and political action: a reply to Leser and Spissinger}, series = {Global Discourse}, volume = {10}, journal = {Global Discourse}, number = {2}, publisher = {Ingenta}, doi = {10.1332/204378920x15862771406251}, pages = {343 -- 346}, year = {2020}, language = {en} } @article{MoellmannHungerSchulzetal.2020, author = {M{\"o}llmann, Anne and Hunger, Antje and Schulz, Claudia and Wilhelm, Sabine and Buhlmann, Ulrike}, title = {Gazing rituals in body dysmorphic disorder}, series = {Journal of behavior therapy and experimental psychiatry}, volume = {68}, journal = {Journal of behavior therapy and experimental psychiatry}, publisher = {Elsevier}, doi = {10.1016/j.jbtep.2019.101522}, pages = {101522}, year = {2020}, language = {en} } @article{GrotkampCibisBrueggemannetal.2020, author = {Grotkamp, Sabine and Cibis, Wolfgang and Br{\"u}ggemann, Silke and Coenen, M.
