    <title language="eng">Effects of Circular Economy in the Manufacturing Industry and Underlying Information Systems</title>
    <abstract language="eng">As global markets increasingly demand sustainability and circular economy concepts are on the rise, products have to change as well. In this state of research presentation, we discuss effects of circular economy concepts (CE) on production and business potential for producers. The main focus is on the effects on production and manufacturing techniques, and the support of information and communication technology (ICT) systems. The examination of this twin transformation approach addressing sustainability and change of ICT systems is in the early strategic phase based on the intention to use methods from Enterprise Architecture Management.</abstract>
