    <abstract language="eng">Artificial Intelligence (AI) is changing the rules to define digital marketing strategies, marketers have the duty of understanding the role of this technology in their daily tactics, improving the customer experience, and reaching their business objectives. This research reviews the literature on lead generation and sales conversion in online marketing, analyzing both the main marketing tactics and the impact of AI on these processes. Later, using the research methodology of interviews with experts in the field, the research analyses the correlation between AI and online leads/sales prediction. Finally, the research provides an example of how to predict online leads from paid marketing campaigns using AI. &#13;
