    <title language="eng">Clustering graph data: the roadmap to spectral techniques</title>
    <abstract language="eng">AbstractGraph data models enable efficient storage, visualization, and analysis of highly interlinked data, by providing the benefits of horizontal scalability and high query performance. Clustering techniques, such as K-means, hierarchical clustering, are highly beneficial tools in data mining and machine learning to find meaningful similarities and differences between data points. Recent developments in graph data models, as well as clustering algorithms for graph data, have shown promising results in image segmentation, gene data analysis, etc. This has been primarily achieved through research and development of algorithms in the field of spectral theory, leading to the conception of spectral clustering algorithms. Spectral clustering algorithms have been one of the most effective in grouping similar data points in graph data models. In this paper, we have compiled 16 spectral clustering algorithms and compared their computational complexities, after an overview of graph data models and graph database models. Furthermore, we provided a broad taxonomy to classify most existing clustering algorithms and discussed the taxonomy in detail.</abstract>

    <title language="deu">E-Mobilität im Wandel</title>
    <abstract language="deu">Die vorliegende Bachelorarbeit widmet sich einer Online-Umfrage mit dem Ziel, mit einer demografischen Analyse die Einflussfaktoren auf die Kaufentscheidung für Elektrofahrzeuge zu untersuchen. Der Fokus liegt nun auf batterieelektrische Fahrzeuge (BEV). Die Umfrage konzentriert sich dabei auf Teilnehmer, die repräsentativ für den deutschen Markt sind.&#13;
&#13;
Die Arbeit beginnt mit einer Einleitung in den theoretischen Rahmen und legt die Grundlagen für die darauf aufbauende Untersuchung durch eine Umfrage fest. Es erfolgt eine ausführliche Darstellung der Problemstellung und die derzeit aktuelle Situation bezüglich des Wandels der Automobillandschaft in Richtung Elektromobilität wird erläutert. Im Zuge der Umfrage werden identifizierte Einflussfaktoren wie Reichweite, Anschaffungskosten, Batterieladeinfrastruktur und einige weitere bewertet, um sie anschließend anhand einer Auswertung und Analyse der demografischen Merkmale genauer zu untersuchen. Dabei werden verschiedene Wohlfühlfaktoren hinsichtlich ihrer Wichtigkeit abgefragt, beschrieben und mittels Grafiken veranschaulicht. Anschließend erfolgt die Analyse der Resultate, woraufhin die Schlüsselbotschaften aus den Ergebnissen abgeleitet und beschrieben werden sollen.&#13;
&#13;
Zum Abschluss der Arbeit wird eine kritische Betrachtung anhand der gewonnenen Erkenntnisse durchgeführt. Insgesamt soll diese Arbeit die aktuelle Situation und die Herausforderungen des Elektromobilitätswandels bezogen auf das Kaufverhalten beschreiben und in einigen Aspekten Politik, Hersteller und Kunden einen Anstoß dafür geben, wie sie sich jeweils eine Möglichkeit für Risiken und Chancen ableiten können.</abstract>

    <abstract language="deu">Diese Bachelorarbeit untersucht die Anwendung von Gamification-Strategien in modernen Recruiting-Prozessen. Der Fokus liegt dabei auf der Analyse spezifischer Fälle, in denen Unternehmen wie Jaguar Land Rover und Deloitte digitale Spiele und Wettbewerbe, wie zum Beispiel „Freedom Firefly“ und L'Oréals „Brandstorm“, in ihre Personalbeschaffungsverfahren integriert haben. Ein zentraler Aspekt der Arbeit ist die Betrachtung der Effektivität und Nachhaltigkeit dieser Strategien. Die Arbeit zeigt auf, wie solche innovativen Ansätze dazu beitragen können, Recruitingprozesse nicht nur effizienter, sondern auch ansprechender für potenzielle Bewerber zu gestalten. Dabei wird auch diskutiert, wie die flüchtige Natur digitaler Innovationen und die damit verbundenen Herausforderungen die akademische Forschung und die langfristige Anwendbarkeit solcher Strategien beeinflussen. Anhand von Praxisbeispielen für Gamificationelemente in Recruitingprozessen soll evaluiert werden, ob der Einsatz solcher Elemente Sinn macht und sich bis zum heutigen Tage etablieren konnte.</abstract>

    <abstract language="deu">Diese Bachelorarbeit untersucht die Einflüsse der aktuellen Trends der Globalisierung, Digitalisierung und Nachhaltigkeitsbestrebungen auf die Struktur und Effizienz internationaler Produktionsnetzwerke in der deutschen Automobilindustrie. Die damit in Verbindung stehenden Herausforderungen und Auswirkungen werden herausgearbeitet und auf Basis dessen werden zukünftige Szenarien abgeleitet.&#13;
&#13;
Die Problemstellung konzentriert sich darauf, wie diese Trends die geografische Verteilung von Produktionsstandorten, die technologische Integration und die strategischen Entscheidungen der Unternehmen beeinflusst haben. Dabei liegt der Fokus insbesondere auf der deutschen Automobilindustrie.&#13;
&#13;
Die Ergebnisse dieser Forschung bestätigen, dass die Globalisierung zu einer internationalen Ausweitung der Produktionsstandorte geführt hat, während die Digitalisierung eine Transformation der Produktionsprozesse und eine zunehmende Vernetzung ermöglicht hat. Gleichzeitig haben die Bestrebungen nach Nachhaltigkeit zu einer Neuausrichtung von Produktionsmethoden und einer verstärkten &#13;
Verantwortung für ökologische Aspekte geführt.&#13;
&#13;
Zukünftige Entwicklungen werden voraussichtlich von einer fortschreitenden Digitalisierung, verstärkten Nachhaltigkeitsbemühungen und sich ändernden globalen Handelsbeziehungen geprägt sein. Aufgrund der COVID-19-Pandemie und dem Ukrainekrieg, die jeweils in Produktionsunterbrechungen resultierten, wird für die deutsche Automobilindustrie ein Wandel zur Lokalisierung prognostiziert.</abstract>

    <abstract language="deu">Die vorliegende Bachelorarbeit fokussiert sich auf die Konzeption und Rahmenbedingungen zeitgemäßer Arbeitswelten, insbesondere im Kontext mittelständischer Technologieentwicklung unter Verwendung des Campus-Modells. Die gegenwärtige Situation der Arbeitsrealität wurde analysiert und zwei Unternehmen wurden als Fallstudien herangezogen, die bereits das Campus-Modell erfolgreich implementiert haben. Im Zuge dessen wurden nicht nur Bürostrukturen, sondern auch die bisherige Planungsphase eines neuen Bürogebäudes detailliert erfasst. Die Arbeit schließt mit einer fundierten Empfehlung für die Gestaltung zukünftiger Arbeitswelten auf Basis der gesammelten Erkenntnisse und Erfahrungen.</abstract>

    <abstract language="deu">Nachhaltige Verpackungen sind in der Lebensmittelindustrie ein wichtiges Thema,&#13;
da sie sowohl ökologische als auch ökonomische Vorteile bieten können. Diese&#13;
Bachelorarbeit untersucht, wie Unternehmen durch die strategische Anpassung&#13;
des Marketing-Mix und die Integration der Blue Ocean Strategy ihre&#13;
Marktakzeptanz und Wettbewerbsfähigkeit verbessern können. Sie verwendet eine&#13;
Kombination aus qualitativen und quantitativen Forschungsmethoden, darunter ein&#13;
Experteninterview, Literaturrecherche und eine Datenanalyse. Diese Studie zeigt,&#13;
dass Nachhaltigkeit umfassend in alle Aspekte des Marketing-Mix integriert werden&#13;

    <title language="eng">Unveiling Hidden Knowledge: On the Effectiveness in Automotive Digital Forensics</title>
    <abstract language="eng">The continuous introduction of new services in modern automotive systems increases their digital capabilities and growing significance for digital forensic investigations. Those investigations are necessary to reconstruct events of potential crimes, generate security learnings, or resolve insurance cases due to the increased attack surface resulting from the increasing digital capabilities of modern vehicles. Consequently, the acquisition of vehicle and vehicle ecosystem components, as well as analysis of the collected data, has become pivotal for investigators seeking to reconstruct events effectively. This dissertation proposes a novel approach to leverage a multi-layered model utilizing ontologies in automotive digital forensics investigations, facilitating more efficient and effective data analysis by combining information from diverse sources. By harnessing ontologies to reuse knowledge collected from past investigations, investigators can seamlessly combine data from multiple sources, unveil hidden knowledge, and establish connections that might have otherwise remained obscure, thereby aiding in the resolution of crimes and apprehending criminals. A multi-layered model is presented to showcase increased effectiveness achieved through knowledge reuse. The model comprises a query layer that serves as an interface between investigators and the knowledge layer, allowing automotive digital forensics stakeholders to pose forensic questions and hypotheses via SPARQL queries. These queries extract data from the knowledge layer, which consists of two ontologies developed for this study: the general vehicle ontology, offering comprehensive knowledge on modern vehicles, and the vehicle type ontology, containing vehicle-specific knowledge, such as information from a Tesla Autopilot. The knowledge is generated through the operational layer, which introduces digital forensics tools generating results in an ontology-ready format. Two real-world investigations were undertaken to validate the effectiveness of the proposed approach: a thorough examination of the Tesla Autopilot system and an in-depth inquiry involving a GM Airbag control module. Both investigations involved crucial evidence items highly relevant for event reconstruction. The results demonstrate a significant increase in the effectiveness of automotive digital forensics investigations using the multi-layered model. This improvement is validated through three evaluation criteria and twelve metrics to show the application proximity of the multi-layered model.</abstract>
    <abstract language="deu">Durch die kontinuierliche Einführung neuer Dienste in modernen Automobilsystemen steigen deren digitale Fähigkeiten und ihre Bedeutung für digitalforensische Untersuchungen. Diese Untersuchungen sind notwendig, um Ereignisse potenzieller Straftaten zu rekonstruieren, Sicherheitserkenntnisse zu gewinnen oder Versicherungsfälle zu klären, da sich die Angriffsfläche aufgrund der zunehmenden digitalen Fähigkeiten moderner Fahrzeuge vergrößert hat. Folglich ist die Erfassung von Fahrzeugkomponenten und Bestandteile des Fahrzeugökosystems, sowie die Analyse der gesammelten Daten für Ermittelnde, die die Ereignisse effektiv rekonstruieren wollen, von zentraler Bedeutung. In dieser Dissertation wird ein neuartiger Ansatz zur Nutzung eines mehrschichtigen Modells unter Verwendung von Ontologien bei digitalen fahrzeugforensischen Untersuchungen vorgeschlagen, der eine effizientere und effektivere Datenanalyse durch die Kombination von Informationen aus verschiedenen Quellen ermöglicht. Durch die Nutzung von Ontologien zur Wiederverwendung von Wissen aus früheren Ermittlungen können Ermittelnde Daten aus verschiedenen Quellen nahtlos kombinieren, verborgenes Wissen aufdecken und Verbindungen herstellen, die andernfalls möglicherweise im Dunkeln geblieben wären, und so bei der Aufklärung von Verbrechen und der Festnahme von Kriminellen helfen. Es wird ein mehrschichtiges Modell vorgestellt, um die durch die Wiederverwendung von Wissen erzielte höhere Effektivität zu demonstrieren. Das Modell umfasst eine Abfrageschicht, die als Schnittstelle zwischen Ermittelnde und der Wissensschicht dient und es den Beteiligten der digitalen Fahrzeugforensik ermöglicht, forensische Fragen und Hypothesen über SPARQL-Abfragen zu stellen. Diese Abfragen extrahieren Daten aus der Wissensschicht, die aus zwei für diese Studie entwickelten Ontologien besteht: der allgemeinen Fahrzeugontologie, die umfassendes Wissen über moderne Fahrzeuge bietet, und der Fahrzeugtypontologie, die fahrzeugspezifisches Wissen enthält, wie z. B. Informationen über einen Tesla Autopiloten. Das Wissen wird durch die operative Schicht generiert. Diese führt digitale Forensik-Tools ein, welche die Ergebnisse in einem Ontologie-kompatiblen Format erzeugen. Zwei reale Untersuchungen wurden durchgeführt, um die Wirksamkeit des vorgeschlagenen Ansatzes zu validieren: eine Untersuchung des Tesla-Autopilot-Systems und eine eingehende Untersuchung eines GM-Airbag-Steuermoduls. Beide Untersuchungen beinhalteten entscheidende Beweismittel, die für die Rekonstruktion von Ereignissen von großer Bedeutung sind. Die Ergebnisse zeigen eine signifikante Steigerung der Effektivität digitaler forensischer Untersuchungen im Automobilbereich, durch die Verwendung des mehrschichtigen Modells. Diese Verbesserung wird durch drei Bewertungskriterien und zwölf Metriken validiert, um die Anwendungsnähe des mehrschichtigen Modells aufzuzeigen.</abstract>

    <title language="eng">Analysis of Knowledge Tracing performance on synthesised student data</title>
    <abstract language="eng">Knowledge Tracing (KT) aims to predict the future performance of students by tracking the development of their knowledge states. Despite all the recent progress made in this field, the application of KT models in education systems is still restricted from the data perspectives: 1) limited access to real life data due to data protection concerns, 2) lack of diversity in public datasets, 3) noises in benchmark datasets such as duplicate records. To resolve these problems, we simulated student data with three statistical strategies based on public datasets and tested their performance on two KT baselines. While we observe only minor performance improvement with additional synthetic data, our work shows that using only synthetic data for training can lead to similar performance as real data.</abstract>

    <title language="deu">OPS5 ähnliche Implementierung mit einem Retenetzwerk</title>
    <abstract language="deu">In dieser Arbeit wurde ein OPS5 ähnlicher Interpreter in Java 21 implementiert, genannt MemoRete OPS5. Der Name setzt sich zusammen aus dem Begriff Memo wie Memoisation (oder englisch Memoization), Rete vom Rete-Algorithmus und OPS5 aus Official Production System 5. Auf dem Weg zur Implementierung wurden Vor- und Nachteile unterschiedlicher Ansätze besprochen, besonders auf die Indizierung von Teilmatches in Beta-Knoten wurde eingegangen. Es wurde gezeigt wie man den herkömmlichen Rete-Algorithmus modifizieren und verbessern kann. Des Weiteren wurde die Aktion Call von OPS5 für objektorientiertes Java angepasst. Der Code von MemoRete OPS5 wurde auf Github veröffentlicht.</abstract>

The study also addresses the challenges in testing autonomous vehicles, such as real-world scenario simulation and scalability, and proposes a comprehensive testing framework. It includes case studies to demonstrate the application of these methods and discusses the implications for autonomous vehicle safety. The thesis aims to establish a roadmap for integrating advanced testing methods, contributing to safer and more effective autonomous driving technology.</abstract>

    <title language="eng">Reinforcement learning for building energy system control in multi-family buildings</title>
    <abstract language="eng">The demand for heat energy is increasing worldwide and to achieve net zero&#13;
carbon emissions targets, more innovation is needed for heat production. Heat&#13;
pumps are considered a potential replacement for boilers and are currently in&#13;
high demand. The next approach is to optimize the use of heat pumps with&#13;
household PV production to avoid grid overloading due to running increased&#13;
demand by the heat pump. In this work, a Reinforcement Learning algorithm is&#13;
used in the MATLAB RL toolbox with an energy-building model built in MATLAB&#13;
Simulink Carnot. The energy building model uses a heat pump to charge thermal&#13;
storage, and a PV system is considered with a typical ON/OFF strategy. This work&#13;
shows how the RL toolbox has the potential to interact with this energy-building&#13;
model to optimize the heat pump with a PV system. All suggested agents by the&#13;
MATLAB RL toolbox are investigated with this building energy model (BEM), and&#13;
annual simulation is performed with a well-trained agent, which converges&#13;
during training. Two different models have been developed for heat pump&#13;
control. The first model is called the RL-based Heat Pump Controller, which is&#13;
designed to meet thermal targets only. The second model is called the PV-&#13;
optimized RL-based Heat Pump Controller, which not only meets thermal targets&#13;
but also considers the operation of the PV system with the heat pump. The&#13;
simulation results show that using the RL toolbox, the RL-based Heat Pump&#13;
Controller model has performed excellently. In the PV-optimized RL-based Heat&#13;
Pump Controller model, there is almost a 4.37% increase in PV self-consumption&#13;
compared to the typical control strategy, resulting in annual electricity savings&#13;
of almost 3.52 MWh. Some challenges of using the RL toolbox are also&#13;
highlighted with future recommendations, which mainly include computational&#13;
efforts.</abstract>

    <title language="deu">Predictive Maintenance in der Gepäckförderanlage im Terminal 1 am Flughafen München</title>
    <abstract language="deu">Die vorliegende Arbeit befasst sich mit der Frage, wie eine Implementierung eines Predictive Maintenance-Systems in der Gepäckförderanlage im Terminal 1 des Flughafen München aussehen könnte. Zu diesem Zweck wurde eine Auswertung der bestehenden Sensordaten der Sortierrundläufe gemacht, eine Implementierung eines “mobilen“ Sensorkonzepts und die Auswertung der Daten des Konzepts durchgeführt. Die Daten werden dahingehend analysiert, ob man eine Aussage über den mechanischen Zustand eines Förderers treffen kann. Die Analyse ergab, dass man mithilfe der Vibrationsdaten eine Aussage darüber treffen kann, ob eine defekte Laufrolle an einem Förderer vorhanden ist oder nicht. Zur automatisierten Auswertung der Daten wurde zudem ein Decision Tree trainiert. Um die Kategorisierung zu verbessern, wurde zudem eine Normalverteilung und ein Wert für die Welligkeit der Sensordaten berechnet und an den Entscheidungsbaum übergeben. Jeweils ein Decision Tree wurde für einen Förderertyp verwendet. Die Entscheidungsbäume lieferten für die Validierungsdaten in über 97% der Fälle das richtige Ergebnis, dennoch bedarf es noch mehr Arbeit in diese Richtung, um ein System zu implementieren, welches mehr als einen Fehlerfall abdeckt.</abstract>

    <title language="eng">Digital twin dataset vs domain-specific randomized synthetic dataset to train 6d pose estimator of industrial parts</title>
    <abstract language="eng">This thesis explores the effectiveness of training the deep-learning-based 6D pose estimation algorithm, GDR-NPP, for the detection of automotive industrial parts using a photorealistic synthetic dataset generated from digital simulation, in comparison to a structured domain-randomized dataset in an industrial context.&#13;
In the realm of industrial robotics, accurately detecting 6D poses of objects, essential for tasks like pick-and-place operations, presents significant challenges. Notably, GDR-NPP, an open-source deep-learning-based 6D pose algorithm highlighted in the BOP benchmark, has shown fast and robust results using single RGB camera inputs. However, collecting and annotating precise 6D pose data from RGB images is a daunting, time-consuming, and costly process, particularly for planned use cases that do not yet physically exist. Leveraging simulations from photorealistic, physically accurate engines like Nvidia IsaacSim, it is possible to realistically simulate the specific objects of interest and their environments.&#13;
This research establishes a pipeline for generating synthetic 6D pose data from such simulations, aiming to make data collection more cost-effective and efficient. The study involves creating and evaluating models trained on both digital twin datasets and structured domain-randomized datasets within an industrial context. The findings reveal that while digital twin datasets offer accuracy benefits over industrial randomized datasets in the 6D pose estimation pipeline (Mask R-CNN + GDR-NPP), the integration of real images with synthetic data enhances accuracy. Within the scope of this study, it was observed that models trained on industry domain-randomized datasets, when augmented with real images, exhibited the highest level of accuracy. Despite these advancements, the current state of the trained models necessitates further research to reach the reliability required for consistent industrial robotic applications.</abstract>

    <title language="deu">Entwicklung und Test einer robotergestützten Anlage zur Bestückung von Leiterplatten mit THT-Kondensatoren</title>
    <abstract language="deu">Als rohstoffarmes Hochlohnland kann sich Deutschland im internationalen Wettbewerb nur dann behaupten, wenn in Deutschland gefertigte Produkte mit möglichst geringen Kosten hergestellt werden können. Das bedeutet unter anderem, dass manuelle Fertigungsprozesse durch optimierte und automatisierte Verfahren zur Reduktion der Fertigungszeit ersetzt werden müssen. In der Leistungselektronik ist die Through-Hole-Technology das etablierte Bestückungsverfahren, jedoch erfolgt die Bestückung bisher selten automatisch, weil Bauteiltoleranzen dies oftmals nicht zulassen. Um die Fertigungskosten zu reduzieren, sollen häufig genutzte Bauteile, wie beispielsweise Aluminium-Elektrolytkondensatoren künftig mittels eines Roboters bestückt werden. Eine vorangegangene Bachelorarbeit hat hierfür die Umsetzbarkeit der Aufgabe in Betracht auf die Bauteile, den zur Verfügung stehenden Komponenten und der Umgebung bewiesen. An diese Machbarkeitsstudie soll nun mit dieser wissenschaftlichen Arbeit angeknüpft werden. Dafür soll nach der Analyse der Gegebenheiten und der bereits gewonnen Erkenntnisse ein Konzept für eine automatische, robotergestützte Anlage entwickelt werden. In dieser kommt ein Roboter zum Einsatz, der die elektronischen Bauteile in Leiterplatten mithilfe von Sensoren fügt. Außerdem wird der mechanische, der elektrische Aufbau sowie das entwickelte Ablaufprogramm erklärt. Anschließend folgen Versuchsaufbauten zur Validierung sowie die Optimierung der Anlage für den Betrieb in der Produktion. Zuletzt wird die Anlage bewertet und daraus folgende Verbesserungsvorschläge für die weitere Automatisierung formuliert.</abstract>

    <title language="deu">Entwicklung einer dezentralen Signalverarbeitung für ein Formula Student Fahrzeug</title>
    <abstract language="deu">Ein entscheidender Aspekt des Erfolgs in der Formula Student Electric ist die Integration fortschrittlicher Sensortechnologien und die präzise Signalverarbeitung. Sensoren werden verwendet zur Erfassung und Messung verschiedener physikalischer Größen und ermöglichen eine genaue Überwachung und Steuerung des Fahrzeugs. Die daraus gewonnenen Daten bieten die Grundlage für einen leistungsstarken, effizienten und sicheren Rennwagen.&#13;
&#13;
Diese Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Hardwareentwicklung mehrerer Steuergeräte im Bereich der Signalverarbeitung des Schanzer Racing Electric Rennwagens. Es soll ein dezentrales Konzept umgesetzt werden, bei dem verschiedene, möglichst kleine Platinen zum Einsatz kommen sollen. Ein eng abgesteckter Funktionsumfang und die geringe Baugröße erlauben eine Platzierung der neuen Steuergeräte in unmittelbarer Nähe der Sensoren und Aktoren. Das Konzept zielt darauf ab, analoge Leitungswege zu kürzen und damit de Störanfälligkeit zu verringern. Die Anbindung an das Gesamtfahrzeug soll nur durch einen Kommunikationsbus und eine Spannungsversorgung realisiert werden. Insgesamt soll dadurch ein schlanker und robuster Kabelbaum entstehen, mit hoher Flexibilität bei der Einbindung neuer Komponenten.&#13;
&#13;
Im Rahmen der Hardwareentwicklung wurden fünf verschiedene Steuergeräte entwickelt. Hierfür wurden Schaltungen für das Einlesen von analogen Sensorsignalen und digitalen Eingängen, sowie für das Treiben von LEDs entwickelt. Des Weiteren wurde ein 24 V Schaltausgang und ein PWM-Signalausgang realisiert. Die Anbindung von I2C-Komponenten und eine Schrittmotorsteuerung sind ebenso erstellt worden. Neben diesen platinenspezifischen Funktionen wurde die Spannungsversorgung, die CAN-Anbindung, die JTAG Schnittstelle, sowie die Schaltungen zur Verwendung des ausgewählten Mikrocontrollers entwickelt.&#13;

Der Test der Steuergeräte am Ende ergibt, dass die meisten systemkritischen Elemente funktionieren. Jedoch wurden auch Fehler festgestellt. Die Spannungsversorgung weist eine wesentlich zu hohe Verlustleistung auf und kann so nicht verwendet werden. Zusätzlich wurde bei einem anderen Bauteil ein falscher Footprint verwendet. Diese Fehler konnten für Testzwecke umgangen werden und wurden für die nächste Version der Leiterplatten überarbeitet.</abstract>

    <title language="eng">On neural compression using diffusion autoencoders</title>
    <abstract language="eng">This work presents an examination of using diffusion models to achieve efficient data compression. As diffusion models have become more dominant in areas such as generative modelling, this work shows that they achieve a strong performance on the task of image-, and video-compression and outperform classical algorithms, as well as established neural compression algorithms. This type of model, referred to as Diffusion Autoencoders, is able to achieve spatial compression factors of 32x, while achieving high quality reconstructions that even maintain fine details of the input. The bachelor thesis presents a thorough analysis of individual components of the diffusion autoencoder through extensive experiments, while undermining the solidness of the approach by numerous comparisons and ablation studies. Additionally, an in-depth overview of related work for classical-, and neural-compression, diffusion models and evaluation methods is given.</abstract>

    <title language="deu">Lässt sich die Raumakustik in Open-Space-Büros durch Nudging verbessern?</title>
    <abstract language="deu">Open-Space-Büros werden bei Unternehmen immer beliebter. Diese weisen jedoch oft Probleme mit der Geräuschumgebung bzw. der Raumakustik auf, für die es bisher noch keine adäquate Lösung zu geben scheint. Obwohl sich das Prinzip des Nudgings auch in Büros bereits als wirksam erwiesen hat, wurde es bisher kaum auf die Verbesserung der Raumakustik in Open-Space-Büros angewandt. Die vorliegende Arbeit führt deshalb eine Feldstudie durch, um die Forschungsfrage „Lässt sich die Raumakustik in Open-Space-Büros durch Nudging verbessern?“ zu beantworten. Dabei kommen als Intervention Lärmampeln in Kombination mit Erinnerungszetteln zum Einsatz. Die Untersuchung fand über zwei Arbeitstage hinweg statt, wobei der erste als Kontroll-Zeitraum und der zweite als Nudge-Zeitraum diente. Die Mitarbeitenden füllten Fragebögen aus, die in Anlehnung an den Vorschlag aus der ISO 22955 konstruiert wurden. Zusätzlich wurde der Schallpegel im Büro mit drei Messgeräten gemessen. Die gesammelten Daten wurden statistisch mit Welch-Tests, Wilcoxon-Vorzeichen-Rang-Tests und Spearman-Rangkorrelationen ausgewertet und die jeweilige Effektstärke berechnet. Es konnte sowohl bei den subjektiv (Fragebögen), als auch bei den objektiv gemessenen Parametern (Schallpegelmessung) keine Verbesserung durch den Einsatz des Nudges festgestellt werden. Die unerwarteten Ergebnisse könnten aufgrund von einigen Limitationen (kleine Stichprobengröße, kurzer Untersuchungszeitraum, wenige Messgeräte) entstanden sein, es ist jedoch auch eine Trotz-Reaktion der Mitarbeitenden, ein Hawthorne-Effekt oder eine zu geringe Stärke des Nudges als Ursache denkbar. Es konnten Korrelationen gefunden werden, die eine Wirkung der Raumakustik auf die Leistungsfähigkeit und das Wohlbefinden von Mitarbeitenden indizieren. Um die Forschungsfrage mit hoher Validität beantworten zu können, ist weitere Forschung nötig.&#13;

    <title language="eng">Contagious humans: A pandemic's positive effect on attitudes towards care robots</title>
    <abstract language="eng">History has shown that attitudes toward new technologies can change abruptly following disruptive events. During the COVID-19 pandemic, it became apparent that care robots enable increased social isolation. This feature of robotic care usually raises strong ethical concerns about potentially decreased comfort for the care-dependent. In a large-scale online study, we tested the influence of the pandemic on people's affective attitudes toward care robots. In vignettes on different care scenarios, we measured participants' perceived comfort levels in situations with care robots and human caregivers while controlling for their fear of infection with a viral disease. We found that people generally feel less comfortable with a care robot than with a human caregiver. However, those who had a strong fear of being infected during the pandemic did not devalue a care robot compared to a human caregiver. While care robots remain ethically contested, this study shows that affective attitudes toward care robots may change significantly if they can address an urgent need.</abstract>

    <title language="eng">The risk ethics of autonomous vehicles: an empirical approach</title>
    <abstract language="eng">How would people distribute risks of autonomous vehicles (AVs) in everyday road traffic? The rich literature on the ethics of autonomous vehicles (AVs) revolves around moral judgments in unavoidable collision scenarios. We argue for extending the debate to driving behaviors in everyday road traffic where ubiquitous ethical questions arise due to the permanent redistribution of risk among road users. This distribution of risks raises ethically relevant questions that cannot be evaded by simple heuristics such as “hitting the brakes.” Using an interactive, graphical representation of different traffic situations, we measured participants’ preferences on driving maneuvers of AVs in a representative survey in Germany. Our participants’ preferences deviated significantly from mere collision avoidance. Interestingly, our participants were willing to take risks themselves for the benefit of other road users, suggesting that the social dilemma of AVs may be mitigated in risky environments. Our research might build a bridge between engineers and philosophers to discuss the ethics of AVs more constructively.</abstract>
