The processes chosen for automation are Purchase Order approval, Supplier request approval, and contract request approval which are critical processes in the procurement cycle of a company. The primary objective of this research is to evaluate the efficacy of RPA Automation anywhere and Jotform in automating these processes and compare it with a standard software program that is commonly used for Purchasing automation (K{\"o}nig et al., 2020) The study was conducted using a comparative approach, where each process was automated using both RPA and the standard software, and the results were compared based on several criteria such as time taken, cost of implementation, accuracy, and ease of use. The study found that the automation softwares were more efficient in terms of time taken and cost of implementation. However, the standard software and RPA Automation anywhere approach was more accurate and easier to use (Madsen, 2020). The study provides insights into the benefits and limitations of using RPA and standard software for automation in the Purchasing Department. The study highlights the need for companies to carefully evaluate their automation needs and choose an approach that best suits their requirements. The research contributes to the growing body of literature on RPA and its potential to transform business processes.
