This is mainly due to cost and productivity related factors. Such transformation is usually based on the practical knowledge from industrial professionals rather than structured theoretical frameworks. This makes the exact scope of such digitization in quality assurance an unknown. Such connection was researched by literature studies based on the newest research work in terms of digitization of quality assurance. This thesis explores the exact scope of digitization in the quality assurance sector in manufacturing by creating Poka Yoke Matrix, a framework to assess the technologies used for Poka Yoke, in terms of fulfilling the basic foundations of Poka Yoke and the benefits that those technologies may bring as a digital solutions. The Poka Yoke Matrix not only highlights the current scope of digitzation of Poka Yoke, but also provides a methodology for the decision makers, so that the potential of digital quality assurance technologies may be fully embraced.}, language = {en} }
