Welcome to the 4000 Miles Catalogue, a virtual global learning initiative powered by the curiosity, dedication, and creativity of our students. Born from a collaboration between the Herron School of Art and Design at IU Indianapolis and the Faculty of Design at THWS in Würzburg, this project reflects a shared belief that art and design can bridge perspectives and distances—geographic, cultural, and personal. Through shared exploration and artistic practice, students have discovered new ways of working, communicating, and building community across continents, forming connections that transcend borders. Their work demonstrates the power of visual expression to foster understanding, engagement, and well-being.
