    <title language="deu">Effekte der Tovertafel® auf Apathie, soziale Interaktion und soziale Aktivität von Menschen mit Demenz durch Einsatz in der stationären Langzeitpflege (Entertain)</title>
    <abstract language="deu">Über welche Auswirkungen berichten Pflege(fach)personen beim Einsatz der Tovertafel® im Hinblick auf Arbeitsentlastung, Arbeitsbelastung, berufliche Zufriedenheit? Die Arbeitsentlastung, Arbeitsbelastung, berufliche Zufriedenheit der Mitarbeitenden wurde in der Personalbefragung durch Mitarbeitende, (Pflege(fach)personen, Betreuungsassistenzen, Pflegehilfskraft, Ergotherapeut, Bufdi) eingeschätzt. Die Ergebnisse legen zugrunde, dass trotz guter Integrierbarkeit in den Pflegealltag nur eine mäßige Erleichterung im Arbeitsalltag durch die Verwendung der Tovertafel® seitens der Bewohner von den Mitarbeitenden wahrgenommen wird. Ein positiver Einfluss auf die Berufszufriedenheit durch Steigerung der Arbeitszufriedenheit und einen positiven Einfluss auf das Arbeitsumfeld liegt zugrunde. Zudem haben die Mitarbeitenden das Gefühl, dass durch die Tovertafel®-Anwendung etwas bei den Bewohner:innen bewirkt werden kann.</abstract>

    <title language="eng">Effects of the Tovertafel® on apathy, social interaction and social activity of people with dementia in long-term inpatient care</title>
    <abstract language="eng">Introduction: Tovertafel® is a VR-based serious game for dementia care (SGDC) that aims to stimulate residents affected by dementia in nursing homes, promote social and cognitive skills and reduce apathy. The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of using Tovertafel® on apathy, social interaction and social activity of people with dementia (PWD) in long-term inpatient care in Germany.&#13;
&#13;
Methods: In this monocentric intervention study, 25 residents of an inpatient long-term care facility with moderate or severe dementia had two weekly applications of Tovertafel® over a period of 8 weeks. Effects on the residents’ social interaction and activity were recorded before (T1), during (T2) and 1 h after (T3) each intervention using the Engagement of a Person with Dementia Scale (EPWDS). The degree of apathy was assessed using the Apathy Evaluation Scale (AES). Effects of Tovertafel® were examined using a simple repeated measures analysis of variance (ANOVA).&#13;
&#13;
Results: Thirteen residents with moderate (52%) and 12 residents with severe dementia (48%) were included. Results showed that residents’ apathy changed over the course of the trial and was partially reduced. ANOVA revealed significant changes in the positive expression of social participation in the overall group between individual observation times (p &lt; 0.001; T1: MW = 2.67, SD = 1.352; T2: MW = 3.66, SD = 1.365; T3: MW = 3.10, SD = 1.300) and a significantly lower negative expression of social participation at T2 (MW = 1.09, SD = 0.358) than at T1 (MW = 1.19, SD = 0.579; p = 0.028). There was a significantly higher positive expression of behavioral involvement in the overall group at T3 (MW = 1.17, SD = 0.552) than at T1 (p = 0.003) or T2 (p = 0.045). Analyses did not find any significant interaction between observation times and degree of dementia.&#13;
&#13;
Discussion: Results of the study show that the use of Tovertafel® over a period of 2 months had significant effects on apathy, social activity and social interaction in people with moderate or severe dementia. Symptoms of apathy could be reduced and social interaction and activity increased. However, due to limitations of the study design and special circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic situation, findings might be overestimated and must be interpreted with care. Further research is necessary.</abstract>

    <title language="deu">Neugestaltung des Pflegedokumentationsprozesses via Spracheingaben - am Beispiel der Applikation voize</title>
    <abstract language="deu">Die Pflegedokumentation gestaltet sich zunehmend zeitintensiver, weshalb der Bedarf an Unterstützungssystemen hoch ist. Durch die Einführung der Applikation voize im Diakoneo Kompetenzzentrum Forchheim wurde der Pflegedokumentationsprozess via Spracheingaben neugestaltet und Kenntnis darüber generiert, welchen Einfluss ein KI-gestütztes Sprachassistenzsystem auf den Arbeitsalltag der Mitarbeiter in der Pflege hat.&#13;
Grundsätzlich muss bei Betrachtung der Ergebnisse allerdings berücksichtigt werden, dass nicht alle Nutzer der voize-App an den Befragungen teilgenommen haben und somit nur ein Ausschnitt der Erfahrungen abgebildet werden konnte. Auch die 63 Rückmeldungen zum praktischen Einsatz der App stellen lediglich einen Ausschnitt der tatsächlichen Nutzung durch Mitarbeiter während der Feldphase dar.</abstract>

    <abstract language="deu">Hintergrund&#13;
Die Sicherstellung der gesundheitlichen Versorgung der Bevölkerung im Zivilschutzfall obliegt den nach Landesrecht zuständigen Behörden, die der Bund bei Bedarf mit entsprechenden Maßnahmen unterstützt. Der meist über die regulären Rettungsdienstressourcen hinausgehende Umfang an Versorgungsbedarf von Betroffenen hängt stark von der Ursache des Einsatzgeschehens ab. Für die Vorplanung sowie die Einhaltung von Versorgungsstandards sind valide Daten erforderlich, die die versorgenden Hilfsorganisationen von Beginn an eine Eingruppierung in Soforthilfe, Übergangshilfe oder Wiederaufbauhilfe vornehmen sowie eventuelle Sonderversorgungsbedarfe erkennen lassen.&#13;

Ziel der Arbeit/Fragestellung&#13;
Welche Instrumente sind verfügbar, die valide Daten für eine Einschätzung und Pflegebedarfsplanung im Bevölkerungsschutz zur Verfügung stellen?&#13;

Material und Methoden&#13;
Recherche und Analyse geeigneter und öffentlich verfügbarer Pflegebedarfsplanungsinstrumente im Kontext Bevölkerungsschutz.&#13;

Ergebnisse&#13;
Standardisierte, frei verfügbare Bedarfsplanungsinstrumente mit konkreten Planungsvorschlägen für den Bevölkerungsschutz gibt es derzeit nicht. Dennoch sind vielversprechende Insellösungen verfügbar, die als gute Planungsgrundlage verwendet werden können.&#13;

Diskussion&#13;
Konkrete Vorgaben zur Unterbringung und Versorgung vulnerabler Gruppen mit Pflegebedarf sind in Betreuungskonzepten derzeit nur unzureichend oder gar nicht abgebildet. Eine Zusammenführung der im Netz verfügbaren Insellösungen würde ohne Weiteres eine standardisierte flächendeckende Nutzung zur Bedarfsplanung zulassen.</abstract>

    <title language="eng">Healthcare assessment tools - a valid source of data for pre-hospital care? Usability for ensuring medical care in the event of a disaster</title>
    <abstract language="eng">Providing care for vulnerable population groups in the event of a disaster or evacuation is in the interests of those affected, of local authorities, health insurance companies, other insurance companies and the responsible authorities and organizations with security tasks (BOS). Evacuation and supply planning is currently mostly carried out using regionally or locally adapted so-called “isolated or individual solutions” or by means of an individual, time-consuming and usually manual and direct personal data query. Can existing medical health data from healthcare assessment tools provide valid information for the planning of care and care needs in disaster and civil protection?MethodsResearch and analysis of suitable and regularly used care assessment tools in the care sector in Germany.ResultsThe healthcare assessment tools cannot be simply combined. Without adaptation they cannot be used at all or only after concerted efforts to interpret the needs for the care of vulnerable groups in a non-clinical context.DiscussionAn improved use of individual medical data in disaster and civil protection offers many advantages in prevention, diagnostics, therapy and care in the context of disaster medicine, and not only from an ethical point of view. Due to the different tactical procedures and care strategies in disaster medicine, the field of acute care must be clearly separated from the area of evacuation and care of vulnerable groups. Currently, only the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) offer an internally secured infrastructure that allows all those involved in the care of soldiers to access all important medical data quickly and easily from any location.</abstract>

    <title language="eng">Digital cross-sectoral training with dynamic patient and situation simulation in the context of mass casualty incidents—insights from the research projects D2PuLs and D2PuLs PRO</title>

Managing Mass Casualty Incidents (MCI) demands complex, cross-sectoral competencies. However, training these skills using traditional full-scale exercises is often limited by high resource requirements, low frequency, and a lack of patients (patho-)physiological dynamics. Against this backdrop, the research projects D2PuLs and D2PuLs PRO (Digital Dynamic Patient and Scene Simulation) developed a modular and adaptive digital simulation environment designed for interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral disaster response training.&#13;

Methods&#13;
A core element of this system is a dynamic physiology model that simulates (patho-)physiological changes and therapeutic interventions in real time, replacing static vital signs with realistic, intervention-dependent progressions. The platform facilitates configurable scenarios ranging from individual training on mobile devices to distributed large-scale exercises incorporating external situation simulators and physical simulation manikins.&#13;

Results&#13;
Preliminary results of initial field tests and subsequent surveys of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel and clinical teams showed the fundamental technical and didactic applicability of the system across the entire rescue chain—from initial care and triage to transport and trauma room management. The results provide solid, albeit preliminary, indications that the system can be successfully utilized to train decision-making, triage, and resource management across sector boundaries, while providing digital data foundation for debriefings. Although the complexity of the available medical interventions initially placed high demands on user operation, the modular architecture proved effective in adapting scenarios to specific learning objectives.&#13;

Discussion&#13;
The study concludes that dynamic digital simulations represent a scalable and valid supplement to practical exercises, serving to sustainably strengthen operational confidence in disaster medicine.</abstract>
