Most LR algorithms only focus on location-specific attributes when calculating recommendations, while completely ignoring the urban structure surrounding the locations. (In this paper we refer to a geographic coordinate (latitude and longitude) as position. Locations and places in contrast refer to physical entities e.g. a restaurant, a bus stop or a lake). This paper demonstrates how the urban structure can be modelled in LR calculations by using data from OpenStreetMap (OSM) and the location data itself. Based on these datasets, we present two approaches to extend the LR process by (1) including the urban structure in direct proximity of the location (Proximity Indicators and Areal Descriptors) and by (2) not only looking for individual locations but location clusters (Similarity Clusters). Thereby we acknowledge the complexity of a location, which can not be perceived as a detached entity. A location is part of a given urban structure and we need to include the parameters of this structure in our algorithms. A prototypical implementation compares locations from four major German cities: Berlin, Hamburg, Munich and Cologne and thereby highlights the applicability of the underlying data structures derived from OSM and the location data itself. Two-stage unsaturated VF wetlands treating raw wastewater (French VF wetlands), are also included in the new standard. Existing HF wetland systems in Germany may continue to be operated so long as effluent parameters are met and proper operations and maintenance is ensured. During his road planning work in Westphalia, he developed several suspension bridge projects in 1828. Roebling's travels along the Rhein and Ruhr in the winter of 1828 were connected with these projects. Roebling supplemented his notes on Dietlein's bridge-building lectures at the Berlin Bauakademie with excerpts from newer literature on suspension bridges. Under the title "Remarks on Bridge Construction" he discussed the results of his studies. Four known bridge projects can be distinguished. Two are only elaborated as an idea, in one case the project is only known by official letters. Only in the case of the Freienohl Bridge is there an exact description of the project. None of them have been brought to realization. Security considerations of the Berlin Oberbaudeputation probably led to the decision not to execute Roebling's Finnentrop project. This decision ought to be understood within the context of a bridge collapse in Nienburg /Saale in December 1825. When Roebling immigrated to the United States, he used his knowledge in construction methods and experiences with an experimental approach. For this reason, it is interesting to compare the early German projects with his first American bridges. While Roebling's first canal aqueducts combined suspension bridges with trusses, the Niagara Bridge marks a radical step forward to another dimension and to a new approach that emphasized thinking in terms of "systems". Interestingly, he also consistently maintained his construction principle for attaining stability by using rigid, wrapped main cables, inclined stays and wooden trusswork. Although he later used wrought iron profiles, he continued to use wooden constructions in his basic plans for a long time. There is no evidence that he made any contribution to the theories of trusses in a manner comparable with Whipple, Culmann, Gerber or others. The maximum and minimum value of air temperature is of great importance in the design of city streets, and it is considered as the main factor in the correct selection of the type of pavement and operational activities. The complex use of geotextile, geonet and geogrid innovative materials extends the service life of the road surface by 20\% and reduces maintenance costs during the service period by 2\%. Silkouting of the pavement reduces the costs required for traditional maintenance by almost 17\% and completely protects the pavement from external factors. The present study shows that a pre-knowledge about each structure can be very important for a reliable interpretation of the InSAR measurement results. The second challenge of the study was to overcome several objective difficulties of combining and comparing quite different monitoring techniques that result from different sampling rates, measurement points and other specific features and sensitivities. Dieses Potential unternehmerischer Quartiersentwicklung wird jedoch nicht voll ausgesch{\"o}pft, da verschiedene Hemmnisse der Realisierung gegen{\"u}berstehen. Der Fokus dieser Untersuchung lag daher auf der Rolle privater Akteure in der Entwicklung neuer Stadtquartiere. Die zentrale Frage war, welche Infrastrukturen des Gemeinsamen k{\"o}nnen (sich) Wohnungsunternehmen leisten. Am Beispiel von sechs Projekten unterschiedlicher Wohnungsunternehmen in verschiedenen deutschen Stadtquartieren wurde untersucht, welche Motive f{\"u}r die Entscheidung zur Bereitstellung von Infrastrukturen des Gemeinsamen ausschlaggebend waren, wie der Betrieb gew{\"a}hrleistet wird und wie Kosten und Nutzen bestimmt wurden. Es wurde eine Typologie von Infrastrukturen des Gemeinsamen entwickelt, in der die Funktionen, gestalterische Qualit{\"a}ten, die Zielgruppen und Zugangsberechtigungen sowie weitere Merkmalsauspr{\"a}gungen dargestellt sind. Diese Typologie kann als Katalog zur Inspiration und f{\"u}r eine Bedarfsbestimmung bei der Entwicklung neuer Quartiere dienen, beispielsweise im Rahmen von Konzeptvergaben. Die Ergebnisse der Untersuchung zeigen, dass die Sicherung des Betriebs ein wesentlicher Punkt f{\"u}r eine gelingende Bereitstellung von Infrastrukturen des Gemeinsamen darstellt. Daher wurde insbesondere die Vielfalt der Tr{\"a}gerschafts- und Finanzierungsmodelle untersucht, welche die Unternehmen einsetzen. In der Praxis sind h{\"a}ufig Mischformen anzutreffen und ein Trend geht zu einem r{\"a}umlich {\"u}bergreifenden Quartiersmanagement, das unterschiedliche Infrastrukturen des Gemeinsamen von verschiedenen Wohnungsunternehmen koordiniert, um Synergieeffekte zu erzielen und u.a. durch Quartierspauschalen finanziert wird. Die Untersuchung zeigt auch, dass explizite Wirtschaftlichkeitsberechnungen f{\"u}r die beteiligten Wohnungsunternehmen keine oder nur eine untergeordnete Rolle f{\"u}r die Entscheidung zur Bereitstellung von Infrastrukturen des Gemeinsamen spielen. Jedes Wohnungsunternehmen muss zwar wirtschaftlich handeln, doch ist die Berechnung der Wirtschaftlichkeit solcher Infrastrukturen nicht entscheidend. Wichtig ist, wie Entscheidungs- und Planungsprozesse gestaltet sind, so dass eine verl{\"a}ssliche Tr{\"a}gerschaft gebildet werden kann, welche die Refinanzierung der Kosten und zugleich die Sicherung des erwarteten Nutzens gew{\"a}hrleistet. Ein unmittelbarer {\"o}konomische Nutzen f{\"u}r die Unternehmen besteht vor allem darin, dass durch die Bildung von sozialen Netzwerken und die Steigerung der Identifikation von Bewohnerinnen und Bewohnern mit dem Quartier Instandhaltungsbedarfe und Vandalismus reduziert werden und eine geringere Mieterfluktuation den Aufwand f{\"u}r Neuvermietungen senkt. The author co-produced the structural design of the chimney. During the construction of the windshield, an undesired cold joint was generated at approximately 41 m above ground. The author, at that time working for Constructure GMBH, was asked by the construction company to give an expert opinion on the cold joint construction. It was necessary to determine the extent to which the windshield had possibly been weakened in the area of the cold joint regarding its structural safety and durability, if additional measures were required to strengthen the chimney's windshield. The relationship with the construction company was especially contentious, as it was both the subject of the investigations and the client commissioning. In the course of the inspections on site, it was revealed - contrary to the assurances of the construction company - that there were significant structural damages in the windshield. This paper, at hand, presents the key chimney investigation, principal findings, and the damage mechanism. As a result of the defects, the actual load-bearing capacity of the structure could hardly be quantified. In contrast, data-driven constitutive models couple the model structure and parameters. Addressing this fundamental difference, the development of constitutive models based on Physics-encoded Neural Networks (PeNN) is guided from the perspective of conventional model development, highlighting similarities and differences. The crucial physical information that influences PeNN is explained, and the incorporation of three key state boundary surfaces in pressure-porosity space - critical state, loosest state, and densest state - via physics-informed deep learning is detailed. Physics-informed calibration is performed using the augmented Lagrangian method; then, the calibrated models undergo extensive drained and undrained simulations. Results indicate that using only physical information from state boundary surfaces, without data within these boundaries, fails to calibrate data-driven models; thus, boundary surface information represents partial physical information. While combining partial physical information with reasonably distributed data can improve model development under limited experimental data, adding more partial physical information and data does not necessarily enhance the results. The wetland unit was a two-stage Vertical Flow Constructed Wetland system (VFCW) filled with two different filter media gravel \& sand and planted with two different macrophytes Canna indica and Typha latifolia which was operated for Sustainable treatment of primary sewage. The VFCW was operated at three different Hydraulic loading rate (HLR) i.e. 1800, 2700, 3600 L/day for nine months. The VFCW performed for the treatment of different physicochemical parameters at given loading rates. The maximum removal efficiency of 72.37, 76.47, 100, 87.23, 41.41, 40.77 27.07\% was recorded for COD, BOD, Turbidity, TSS, TDS, Phosphate and Ammonia respectively. Most of the Parameters showed maximum removal efficiency at HLR 2700 L/day. A series of cyclic undrained triaxial tests were simulated to investigate the micromechanical processes underlying liquefaction of sand under cyclic shearing. We analyzed the evolution of various fabric indices, including the redundancy index, contact normal orientations, and fabric anisotropy in relation to the pre- and post-liquefaction responses. The results reveal that a redundancy index below unity provides a unified criterion for the loss of the isostatic condition within the granular assembly, which triggers the onset of liquefaction. Throughout the cyclic loading process, sliding-dominant contact-yielding mechanisms remain prevalent. In this paper a further development with the focus on cost efficiency in span ranges of 40-55 m is proposed: the RS-Overpass technology. The change consists in using standard rolled sections by adapting them into the integral frame bridge configuration, further enhancing the structural efficiency with the benefits of high-steel strength. The constructive details to achieve the polygonal form have been studied to allow easy fabrication and a maximal clearance height over highway traffic lanes. The RS-Overpass solution is conceived as the economic option of standard highway overpasses, with the aim of a overall construction cost reduction of 5\%.
