It asks: How can practice-based design research, informed by forensic aesthetics, be used to develop immersive, narrative-based VR experiences that communicate marginalized mental health realities and challenge systemic stigma? Drawing on practice-based design research and artistic research, it presents the development of a VR experience (hopohopo), designed to raise awareness for Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD). Through usability and immersion testing the study demonstrates how informed, affective design can convey the lived realities of marginalized individuals. Rather than seeking legal judgment, hopohopo symbolically uncovers societal neglect of mental illness, using surreal aesthetics, narrative storytelling, and sensory immersion to evoke empathy and challenge stigma. This approach highlights the potential of games and game design as investigative and experiential tools within forensic aesthetics.}, subject = {K{\"u}nstlerische Forschung}, language = {en} } @incollection{AhnertGutknechtHildebrandtetal., author = {Ahnert, Lieselotte and Gutknecht, Dorothee and Hildebrandt, Frauke and Krauskopf, Karsten and Lagemann, Marina and Maywald, J{\"o}rg and Nentwig-Gesemann, Iris and Pergande, Bianka and Viernickel, Susanne and Weltzien, D{\"o}rte}, title = {Grenzverletzendes Verhalten in Kitas}, series = {Kinderrechte in Krippen sichern}, booktitle = {Kinderrechte in Krippen sichern}, editor = {Krauskopf, Karsten and Hildebrandt, Frauke and Pergande, Bianka}, edition = {1. Until now, research on the links between stratification and lifestyles has accounted for the habitus mainly in conceptual and theoretical terms, and studies directly measuring habitus and its association with stratification and lifestyles are rare. The present study conceptualizes the habitus as an individual-level pattern of meaning making and suggests an operationalization that is commonly used in identity research. Using survey data of 3,438 respondents, the study investigates associations between different lifestyles and patterns of meaning making. Results show, first, that self-related meanings vary systematically across lifestyle categories and mirror respondents' stratification position. Second, the meanings of various social concepts also vary significantly across lifestyle categories and partly reflect descriptive lifestyle characteristics. In sum, the study presents a plausible operationalization of (parts of) the habitus and advances our understanding of its mediating position between stratification and lifestyles.}, subject = {Habitus}, language = {en} } @article{Ammann, author = {Ammann, Birgit}, title = {Soziale Arbeit zwischen lokalem und westlichem Wissen}, series = {Soziale Arbeit}, volume = {70}, journal = {Soziale Arbeit}, number = {4}, address = {Berlin}, organization = {Deutsches Zentralinstitut f{\"u}r soziale Fragen und die Senatsverwaltung f{\"u}r Integration, Arbeit und Soziales des Landes Berlin (DZI)}, issn = {0490-1606}, doi = {10.5771/0490-1606-2021-4-143}, pages = {144 -- 149}, abstract = {Soziale Arbeit in Kurdistan hat immer mit Gewalterfahrung zu tun.
