The field of video studies in educational research provides a wide range of research data types. In addition, constraints in terms of data collection, storage and data privacy need to be considered. In order to analyze the suitability of video data for curation, a thematic analysis of the bibliographic German Education Index (GEI) was conducted. Demonstrating a continuous increase in research activity in the field, data curation for research data in video studies can be considered as relevant. Also, the approach demonstrates that thematic analyses of scientific databases are applicable to the monitoring of research activities.}, subject = {Forschung}, language = {de} }
