On one hand school libraries cannot supply, what Public and University Libraries can. Their collection, supply of professional information and variety of media is limited. On the other hand, school libraries can supply, what public and university libraries cannot: they are on site daily, hold a special, unique collection and offer highly adjusted services for their institution. Here, the teacher librarian plays an important role. He is actively integrated into teaching and organizes the school library on a highly professional level, geared to the needs of the individual school. Media education at school libraries contains the active guidance for the students using media day by day as well, as the individual communication on using media day by day at the environment where students stay every day.
