Research institutions play a major role in their implementation. Their contribution to the SDGs is an indicator in research evaluation. In order to make this contribution visible and quantifiable, research output must be matched to the SDGs. Commercial services from Elsevier and Times Higher Education address this need by developing bibliometric queries. However, these should be carefully reviewed before use as methodological approaches vary. In this paper, a dataset of publications from the Museum f{\"u}r Naturkunde Berlin (MfN) was examined using four SDG mapping approaches. The results were quantified and compared to identify differences and clarify underlying causes. Trends in the MfN's SDG publications were also examined. The work has shown that the different SDG mapping approaches lead to very different results. This is due to differences in the initial query construction and different perspectives on the relevance and combination of SDG keywords. The results presented show that there is no "ground truth" in relation to the SDGs and their continued use as an indicator in research evaluation and as a basis for policymaking is highly problematic.}, language = {de} }
