When you publish your document in OPUS, you can choose between different licences and thus specify the user rights of the copyright. When you select a Creative Commons Licence, you decide under which terms your work that has been published in OPUS can be used in the future. If you select "no licence" (Keine Lizenz), German copyright law applies, i.e. individual copies, e.g. copies and prints can only be used for private and otherwise personal use (Article 53 of the Germany Copyright Act). More copies can only be created and shared if the author has given his express consent to the reproduction.
