Comparison of different test methods for the determination of the seasonal performance of heat pumps: 1) The current test standard EN14825, 2) the compensation test method and 3) the dynamic test method.
The commonly used methods for evaluating the seasonal performance of heat pumps in the laboratory do not consider transient conditions. Will dynamic test methods be able to better reflect real-life behavior in the field and thus lead to more appropriate decision-making?
