T1 - Dynamic assembly of glass II hydrophobins from T. reesei at the air-water interface N2 - Class II hydrophobins are amphiphilic proteins produced by filamentous fungi with the tendency to accumulate at the air-water interface. They show unusual adsorption kinetics with a coverage-independent adsorption rate, which was monitored with ellipsometry and atomic force microscopy. A theoretical model was introduced to identify the underlying mechanism.
