The amounts of volatile organic compounds (VOC) which emit from products in emission test Chambers are used to evaluate these products. Typically labelling procedures for construction products are based on emission test chamber measurements. This performance should be verified. Possibly this can be performed due to testing of one material at different laboratories within a round robin test. Therefore it is necessary that a reference material exists which can be used for such round robin tests or as part of the quality management System to ensure comparable results. The different Statistical evaluation possibilities of a round robin test with a constant reference material for VOCs (volatile organic compounds) in emission test Chambers are the main focus of the presented paper.
