    <title language="eng">ALCOREF "Certified forensic alcohol reference materials"</title>
The presentation provides an overview of the EMPIR project ALCOREF “Certified forensic alcohol reference materials”. Results of an EURAMET intercomparison of ethanol in water reference materials developed in the project are presented, and two different statistical models for the key comparison reference function are discussed, the Frequentist approach and a Bayesian approach.

The presentation summarizes the results of the EURAMET key comparison QM-S13 “Comparison of value assigned forensic alcohol in water reference materials”. Possible options for the key comparison reference function (KCRF) are discussed: the frequentist approach and a Bayesian approach. Both methods are used to determine the degrees of equivalence of materials and participants.
