Influence of welding method on fatigue strength and destruction character of aluminum foam sandwiches
- An influence of the arc welding and the laser welding on fatigue properties and destruction mechanisms of aluminum foam sandwich has been studied. It was found that specimens made by the arc welding had the best fatigue strength. Comparative results of four point bending fatigue tests of the non-welded specimens such as butt welded joints made by different welding methods are presented.
