Evaluation of Forming Behaviour and Tribological Properties of Magnesium Sheet-metal Directly Rolled From Semi-continuously Casted Feedstock
- The formability of AZ31-sheet-metal rolled directly from optimised semi-continuously casted feedstock was investigated. Forming limit diagrams and limiting drawing ratios have been evaluated. Flow stress curves were determined using optical deformation analysis system. The influence of surface treatment on friction behavior was investigated in tempered strip drawing test.
