Industrial investigations for the estimation of flue gas dew points
- Based on experimental laboratory experiments calculation methods for the estimation of the acid and water dew point of flue gas in lignite-fired power plants have heen developed. It could be confirmed that the decisive mechanism for the capture of sulfurice acid is a chemical reaction with fly ash component CaO. Investigations in the field of the water dew point have shown that the chloride salty ingredients of the washing - suspension cause a water vapour reduction.
