The current study aims to evaluate the parallel test reliability of two systems: the CTT Pegasus and the Back-Check®. Maximum isometric force of the trunk musculature in sitting and standing position for flexion and extension is analyzed and compared. Also the ratio of extension/flexion is examined. 19 healthy subjects, 23.1 ± 2.1 years old participated in this study. Inclusion criteria consisted of voluntary participation, physical and psychological health, athletic activity and an age between 21 and 30 years. Exclusion criteria were acute pain, inadequate physical condition, claustrophobia, respiratory disorder such as asthma, age under 21 or above 30 years, as well as the manufacturers’ specifications. After a general and specific warm-up, the participants performed 6 seconds of maximum isometric contraction in both systems in randomized order including a one-minute break between each test. Between systems, a three-minute break was ensured. Spearman correlation and the Wilcoxon Signed Rank test for differences is used. The significance level is set to 0.05. Both systems showed significant correlations for the measurement of the flexion. Y1 - 2019 SN - 978-83-88380-77-8 SP - 75 PB - Oficyna Wydawnicza Klubu Literackiego "Inspiracje" CY - Zgorzelec ER -
