Insbesondere die Diskussionen {\"u}ber konkrete Großprojekte, wie etwa den Berliner Flughafen oder Stuttgart 21, aber auch die Formierung neuer sozialer Bewegungen, wie etwa Recht‑auf‑Stadt‑Netzwerke in verschiedenen St{\"a}dten, verdeutlichen dies. Parallel dazu wird in der deutschsprachigen und anglo‑amerikanischen Planungstheorie die Konflikthaftigkeit von Planungsprozessen wieder zunehmend in den Fokus genommen. Dieses erneute Interesse am Konflikt hebt sich ab von Debatten, die {\"u}ber viele Jahre zu konsensualen Ans{\"a}tzen der Zusammenarbeit der Politik mit anderen Akteursgruppen gef{\"u}hrt wurden, beispielsweise im Kontext der Governance‑Forschung. Mit der kommunikativen Planungstheorie hat sich seit den sp{\"a}ten 1980er Jahren passend dazu das Ideal einer weitgehend auf Vermittlung abzielenden Planungspraxis verfestigt. Demgegen{\"u}ber mehren sich nun jedoch zunehmend Denkans{\"a}tze wie das neue Theorieangebot des Agonismus (vgl. u. a. Roskamm 2015 a, b), der Planung (wieder) als einen politischen Aushandlungsprozess zu fassen versucht, in dem Konflikte nicht konsensual l{\"o}sbar sind. This has thereby led to ever-increasing demand of carbon fiber production and as well as resulting in tonnes of carbon fiber wastes in the landfills [5]. Due to the high positive impacts of using carbon fibers, the energy intensive and cost intensive production of virgin fibers and the growing landfills are often overlooked. Hence, the need for recycling and repurposing of carbon fiber wastes have gained the significance at present day. Although various recycling technologies have been developed yet, various challenges are faced with processing of recycled carbon fibers (rCF). Besides, the desired application specific properties are not compromised for high cost and high-energy requirement. Therefore, an overall development of processing rCF is sought from not only a sustainability point but also an economic point. Various efficient recycling technologies are currently operating. The challenges arises in commercializing the recycled fibers after the recycling process. The recycled fibers often require various post-processing of fibers and undergoes fiber degradation. This induces a skeptical mindset for the buyers to introduce the recycled fibers in the material ecosystem. This paper currently discusses the processing challenges of long rCF in a compounding plant. To form a closed loop, the recycled fibers are obtained from the novel thermocatalytic degassing process from the CFRP recycling pioneers in Germany, Global EnerTec AG, Guben. This plant in Guben not only recycles carbon fibers from automotive CFRP wastes but also repurposes the epoxy matrices into secondary energy sources. This paper focuses in investigating the processing of rCF obtained from a 100\% recycling technology. The aim is to investigate the possible technical challenges so that the rCF can be repurposed to new product manufacturing. Process-based crop growth models (CMs) are critical for understanding cropping system dynamics and supporting decisions from crop breeding to adaptive management across diverse environments. Yet, current CMs struggle to capture extreme events, novel production systems, and rapidly evolving data streams, limiting their ability to inform robust and timely decisions. Here, we outline CM structure, identify key knowledge gaps, and propose six priorities for next-generation CMs: (1) expand applications to extremes and to diverse systems; (2) support climate-resilient breeding; (3) integrate with machine learning for better inputs and forecasts; (4) link with standardized sensor and database networks; (5) promote modular, open-source architectures; and (6) build capacity in under-resourced regions.
