Erozja wladzy: Anatomia zjawiska [Erosion of power: Anatomy of a phenomenon,

  • Examines the personal construct of erosion of power found in the writings of J. K. Galbraith (1984), C. W. Mills, and E. FROMM (1974). The concept of power is derived from Allport's concept of autonomous functioning and D. C. McClelland's (1970) ideas of motivation. In order for an individual to maintain a sense of power, it is suggested that he/she must have excellent information processing, decision-making, and reality-testing skills. It is concluded that the erosion of power is directly proportional to the loss of internal control.
