- Assesses the contributions of Albert Kalthoff, Karl Kautsky, and Erich FROMM to the German Christian-Marxist dialogue in the years before Hitler. These men raised the issues and set some of the boundaries of the dialogue, interrupted by the Third Reich but resumed in 1945.
