TY - JOUR A1 - Clavijo López, Maria Fernanda T1 - Therapeutic progress in repetitive dreams: A diachronic study of a clinical case JF - International Forum of Psychoanalysis, Vol. 24 (No. 2, 2016), pp. 130-142. N2 - This paper presents the results of an inquiry into the relationship between changes in a patient's associations and manifest and latent contents of repetitive dreams, and his progress in the psychoanalytic process. The patient's repetitive dreams were studied for a whole year by way of a categorical analysis of 43 dreams and associations, and the four quarters of the treatment were compared. After analyzing the information on all the repetitive dreams, therapeutic progress was identified in the fourth and last quarter of the treatment. This research shows that repetitive dreams are a useful tool to assess patients’ achievements in the psychoanalytic process. Y1 - 2016 ER -
