Mutually dissociated aspects of self-experience became part of the relationship soon after an unexpected instance of >let-down<. The concept of Eros, the collection of life-preserving instincts that preserve and protect the body and mind - borrowed by Marcuse and other thinkers of the Frankfurt School to understand specifically the generative potential of consciousness - emerged as a helpful construct for understanding the transference and countertransference. Bowlby's notion of attachment, Fromm's social reconceptualization of drive, and Mitchell's integration of the biological and the social dimensions of drive all can be conceived as attesting to the powerful impetus to seek in others connections that create and enable a life structure. What's more, the author's own opinion on religious ethics of his time is also probed. A conclusion is set up: Moby Dick reflects the author's suspicious and rebellious opinion on the relationship between God and men, which shows his strong desire for God's love for humanity and recognition of individualistic personality. This opinion was long repressed by the dominant Puritanism of the time, and had to find its voice in the novel.}, language = {zh} } @article{KavalerAdler, author = {Kavaler Adler, S.}, title = {>My graduation is my mother's funeral<: Transformation from the paranoid-schizoid to the depressive position in fear of success, and the role of the internal saboteur}, series = {International Forum of Psychoanalysis, Basingstoke (Routledge - Taylor and Francis) Vol. 15 (No. 2, June 2006), pp. 117-130.}, journal = {International Forum of Psychoanalysis, Basingstoke (Routledge - Taylor and Francis) Vol. 15 (No. 2, June 2006), pp. 117-130.}, language = {en} } @article{Corradi, author = {Corradi, Richard B.}, title = {A Conceptual Model of Transference and Its Psychotherapeutic Application}, series = {The Journal of the American Academy of Psychoanalysis, Vol. 34 (2006), pp. 415-440.}, journal = {The Journal of the American Academy of Psychoanalysis, Vol. 34 (2006), pp. 415-440.}, language = {en} } @article{Khoury, author = {Khoury, G{\´e}rard D.}, title = {A crucial encounter: Erich Fromm}, series = {Fromm Forum (English Edition - ISSN 1437-1189), 10 / 2006, Tuebingen (Selbstverlag), pp. 19-22.}, journal = {Fromm Forum (English Edition - ISSN 1437-1189), 10 / 2006, Tuebingen (Selbstverlag), pp. 19-22.}, number = {translation / {\"U}bersetzung}, language = {en} } @article{Fu, author = {Fu, Yanhui}, title = {A Journey from Life-Death Struggle to Resurrection - On Holden Caulfield in >The Catcher in the Rye< [ 生—死—回归之旅——解读《麦田里的守望者》主人公霍尔顿] [Application of Fromm's theories to art]}, series = {Journal of Xihua University (Philosophy \& Social Sciences) [西华大学学报(哲学社会科学版)], No. 6 (2006), pp. 56-58, 66.}, journal = {Journal of Xihua University (Philosophy \& Social Sciences) [西华大学学报(哲学社会科学版)], No. 6 (2006), pp. 56-58, 66.}, abstract = {Holden Caulfield in >The Catcher in the Rye< is a boy who was born in a wealthy middle-class family in the 1950s, who grows up in Manhattan, and attends the private school.
