Registering titles for the FHWS bibliography

In addition to its function as a publication server, the purpose of the OPUS Server of FHWS is to (as completely as possible) list publications of FHWS members and to create a FHWS bibliography.

The FHWS bibliography gives information about monographs, essays, editorships, electronic publications, as well as so-called "grey literature", which is not published commercially.
Registrations require the entry of an ISBN/ISSN or a DOI or a permanent URL. The URL shall lead to the full text of the document.

Please ensure that the data you add to the FHWS bibliography is as complete and correct as possible. If, for example, you enter the complete name of an author, you can avoid a mix-up of authors. In the form, please enter the necessary details about the content of the document and a formal description of it. The bibliographical details will only be added to the OPUS server and thus be made publically accessible after a formal check by members of the staff of the FHWS Library has been proceeded. In this process, the bibliographical data will also be adjusted to current standards for alphabetical cataloguing in academic libraries. At the end of the forms, you may use the field for remarks to add further details about your publication which you were not able to add in any other field.

For title registration only, files do not need to be uploaded. There is no need to select licences.

However, you are welcome to provide access to the full text in OPUS while you are registering your publication for the bibliography, provided that they are authorized for such a publication.

Even after the release of the literature citation, you can still request the full texts to be made available. As a first step, select the correct document type under "Publishing/Title registration"; then upload the file or files. Then, fill in the bare necessities in the respective publication form and add the URL of the released literature citation where it says "URL;URN,DOI". In the field for comments, add late publication. The full text will then be linked to the literature citation.

Once your title registration has been released in OPUS, you will be notified by email.
